It's psychologically brilliant! In a way, they participated with them all along the way in the same way one "participates" in a spectator sport. They were "invested" in an archetypal struggle-by-proxy -- watching "heroes" struggle against the odds, at risk of personal wreck. Yea, they "did it".

This was the first STORROR video I saw, and in the 2 weeks since I must have seen them all at least twice. Legit one of the main reasons I watch them.. no big ego's, supportive personalities, full of laughter and positivity. Obviously it helps that they're very skilled at parkour and the videography + editing is great!

I found that part super interesting. I don't agree with her, I guess no one here does. But I believe she was referring to jumping on a Memorial Sculpture. Who knows, maybe it affects her personally in some way, whereas I think Memorials only fulfill their real purpose, when they're surrounded by life. We have the same discussion going on in Berlin every now and then when it comes to kids playing at the Holocaust Memorial.
There's nothing like watching parkour to make oneself feel anatomically inferior.

I hope I'll be surfing and playing tennis again, and I love watching my 12yr old son skate and do parkour, but all I can do is watch these guys and remember my long lost youth!! That's life huh??

YES! I teach 5 to 7 year olds in Brooklyn and I'm totally showing them this clip tomorrow! The challenge aspect is the best part. Max Cave is my personal favorite Storror member, but he doesn't complete this challenge, not for lack of trying! Ed Scott finally does, despite his compact stature. These guys + kids is the BEST thing!

One of the best aspects of these videos is the proper levels of competition in an environment of encouragement. This is the formula that allows the extraordinary to come out in all.
We used to do this on a playground with separated parts so you would have to do jumps from like the monkey bars to the swings. Can't say we didn't get hurt but can say we did have fun :)

As a 42 year old parent and teacher who runs 5k and 10k and plays cricket - this is awesome! These guys push themselves out of their comfort zones and are physically active setting a great example to other youngsters. I’ve recommended this channel to my high school classes

But on a serious note I stumbled across Storror about a week ago now and have been obsessed ever since, I’m not (or wasn’t really) into parkour but the cinematography and styling of these videos is so impressive that they could be filming paint dry and still make it interesting to me somehow 😂 so well done for all the amazing content, congrats on being re-monetised and keep it up! 👏
I liked this one the best so far of your videos. Much more physically challenging. Ever since I saw the David Belle youtube video in 2008 (with Lose Yourself), I have loved this sport. I was 54 at the time so not likely to take the sport up nor now but I understand the attraction and know if it was in existence when I was young, I would have taken part. I can understand the mindset and spatial patterns needed. As a teen we'd run along the granite bedrock and glacier erratics of the coast of Nova Scotia, scaling some and jumping from rock to rock, ledge to ledge etc. There were times when you knew everything was perfect for you to make a huge jump from a higher elevation over a tidepool that would have been impossible on flat land. At times it almost felt like you were floating over the space. You also knew instantly when something wasn't right and you would be getting wet. Which was better than landing on the granite.

Not quite, it's a seafarers memorial. Not that anyone would realise, the only markings are a few inscriptions at the base of some of the pillars.

I'm 47. I have a 3 year old son, and my version of extreme is doing Yoga and meditating for 2 hours, at 2am because my son just woke up frantic that he couldn't find the potty and I need to do something productive.
You all are awesome. I absolutely love the way you break down how you see the challenges, and try out steps before putting them together. Moving site to site and always having a different kind of course that you make up, brilliant. I also appreicate how thoroughly you root for each other. I'm sick of praying for people like me to fail in competitition. This is good medicine.
My wife's twin cousins are into parcour and did backflips at our wedding, then did one on a log. Seemed insanely cool. I didn't look much deeper. Now, Finding this channel inspiring. I was always the radical one of my group growing up. wish I'd been around you all then, I might have found more ways to push it.
