How things have changed in the DMC finals with djs now,when I saw DJ Cheese win this title in London in 1986,he blew everyone away with his 3 turntables and frantic record changing,no cueing etc straight into the action,I’ve been into hip hop since 84 and even though I’m nearly 60 I still love hip hop and all it brings although my heart still yearns the golden era of hip hop,mid 80s-early 90s,DMC and Technics have always brought us all innovative DJ sets from the worlds best DJ’s and the technology is moving forward so fast from Cheese’s days
@@SatanDynastyKiller In Britain,Stock,Aitken and Waterman,yep the hitmakers behind Kylie Minogue,Jason Donavan,Rick Ashley and all that shite,employed him to remix Princess’s song “I’ll Keep On Loving You” in 1986 which coincidentally has another DMC winner remix on Side 1 1987 winner UK’s Chad Jackson who was employed by DMC not long after
spot on, although i still appreciate the skills still required today on digital vinyl, its not the same,there job has been made easier but they haven't achieved anything new in the mix,no new techniques.just some pads and effects . old-school changing vinyl or getting multitrack vinyl's made for your specific set and manualy cueing besides scratching ,it was much more challenging and defo hats off to older dmc champs.
True indeed Craze will always remain the king...But I personally would like to see all out battle of the 3 year world champions to decide who really is the cream of the crop...but that is just my opinion..😊

Been watching DJ kswiss for a long time since he was a young teen and he's only gotten better, he's up there skill wise with Qbert, scratch bastard, craze, the beat junkies crew, xecutioners, 9 o'clock buys but feels like he just needs to smooth his techniques out, a few to many hiccups but still insanely talented. That's a set that will be remembered throughout dmc history 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's so hard to see this after watching DJ Swamp, DJ Craze, DJ Abilities, DJ A-Trak and you see the Mac Book Pro and something made by Pioneer turning a whole underground genre into a McDonald's Play Place. RIP Turntablism.
