I am the biggest fan of Phiroj Syanden infact I fell in love with the band just cos of him only. But this line up is is great too. They totally changed the genre. And I live jazz. It's not about replacing him but reviving it. They are not comparing it but gave a different version of the same song and it sounded phenomenal. I like this band. Great hob 1974 AD. Keep on making good music. Love from Dooars, India.✌️
the new vocalists have great voice and it would sound great in their new compositions but when they sing old 1974ad songs, it reminds me more of the THE GREAT PHIROJ SYANGDEN AND ADRIAN PRADHAN. and what they(new guys) are singing just sounds like amateurs singing a cover song. a good one though

you just need to keep an open mind and praise them for the effort and trying to make it a bit different. the original is there for everyone to enjoy. i don't think its "chya chya" as you put it out to be but i understand why you would say that. that was my first reaction as well but after listening to it, its actually pretty good. obviously its not going to be the same as the original but its not that bad.
Point to be noted.... --Legendary band like 1974 AD wouldn't choose their members haphazardly.... So spread love.... Subtract and divide the hate... and yeah enjoy the music \m/ :)
