Something about this raid no one is talking about
it had a huge player count, maybe the most played day 1 ever, and yet almost no server problems. That's a huge win in my book.
Also why I feel like it was so highly completed. Yes it was easier than most but it also just had so many more attempts.

Jokes aside though, pretty sure you guys were in the lead after the 1st encounter. You guys cleared that hella fast and I checked, Salt, Sweat and Datto's streams and they were all still doing that encounter.
Unparalled, Triangle, and HITP were the first teams to beat first. as well as second and third possibly. the guys you mentioned were at no point in the running for first and not a great comparison
@@TheRapier As someone who isnt up to date with the high end world race teams I didnt know who HITP was until I heard they were on Nez so was only keeping track of the teams I knew of. I cant say whether they beat the 1st encounter before Cross or not but Cross and his team beating it before Datto, Salt and Sweat was great to see but more importantly, it felt like they beat it very quickly, considering it was less than 25mins into the race.

Respectfully that’s just optimistic ignorance. This raid was so free and so many good teams cleared the first couple encounters faster than this team and many other notable teams. Even my team, which is nothing too extravagant, was neck and neck with Aztercrosses team and we passed then after planets and beat the raid before them.

P.S: I DID se this run. Started off watching a tonne of teams, but pretty much settled on watching you guys in the later stages.

This team really popped off at the first 2 encounters. They just severly backed up at planets I remember. But kudos to them. I have a feeling next year Bungie will give us a banger raid for reaching the end of the saga. GG boys hopefully next raid race will go better.

Man I get that it's helpful for teams to have one person mostly calling the shots and directing others, but past few raids Kujay has been on the annoying side. DSC is the worst I think, but it's the overpowering attitude in general that I'm not a big fan of.

Great video! I hope on the next raid or the last campaign they have Zavala sacrifice himself to beat the witness it will put the end to what is a great character and will show respect to Lance. Just a simple farewell guardians it has been nice will do no long monologue just something short.

@Aztecross I suggest separating your audio tracks so you can mute your voices and have the game audio up, at least.
How did Nezeric give the people of Neomuna nightmares? They are living in a virtual world and probably don't have to sleep.
Wasn't harder, we just do way more damage, have way more options for heals/overshields/etc for survivability, full access to new good mods, Well, and cheesing Nezzy on the plate, definitely not how that fight was intended and i think on a platform more like Rhulk's he would have been a lot more challenging. Remember that the best teams in the world did not get first for this raid, some completed hours after and other more casual teams were stuck. With ALL that being said, just because this raid was more accessible and had more day 1 clears *that could be contributed to Bungie changing dates and times around to include more raiders, PLUS people like Shroud and Charlie peeking interest into new or returning players among other streamers, there are just too make factors to call the raid itsself easy. Are we a bit overpowered for it? Did we cheese it? Both yes. But I don't think it's INSANE or on a level of Last Wish or anything. Just saying it wasn't a cakewalk either, for the few it seemed to be its a minority of players with top gear, builds, and strategies that work well together to genuinely clear it in the first few hours while the other clears happened over the FOURTY EIGHT HOUR window to beat contest mode. Idk just some food for thought.

Brother if you put on a void trace rifle and/or machine gun you didnt have to think about ads for the entire raid
@Gla3dr11 ads are supposed to be there just to distract from a main mechanic and they ADD another level of challenge. Imagine just going through the rooms without ads, sure you can focus on the mechanics more but it's boring without that combat aspect.

This is the stream I watched but I thought it was funny the streamers with 60-80,000+ viewers and had a 6 man team they practiced with leading up to this lost to a team with a fraction of that and they played as a full 6 man team for the first time in that raid😅
I can say for sure tho I wouldn’t be watching with the changes twitch is making with a mass influx of advertisements when I can watch on a platform that doesn’t bombard someone stream with Ads that take you away from the streamers🤷♂️
