When I ran mine with thunderfang I didn’t see a single flyer….. once I put dragon tail back on suddenly the mantine and mandibuzz were everywhere again. Wow so shocking, it’s almost as if the algorithm gives matchups based on move type…..
Interesting to finally see someone else use psychic fangs and breaking swipe, that's what I use. Most ppl recommend one or the other paired with earthquake. The double cheap noves work best in my opinion. Up energy you can just keep spamming out cheap moves and make Steelix unstoppable
I purified a 0/15/15 shadow onix and then it became rank1 in UL which is 2/15/15. I hope I wont be disappointed. I did it coz I dont play outdoors much and it would take me forever to power up a shadow. What do u think?
I played this team in the 3300s and got recked. After taking super effective damage on my mandibuzz i swapped into my jellicent thinking it was ice fang only to realize it was thunder fang
Steelix needs a regional form in my opinion. And maybe Rampardos and Bastiodon can have regional forms too where Rampardos becomes a very fast but bulky mon and Basti is all attack no defence trick room sweeper. Maybe they can have an ability "Absolute unit" that says when they are together, opponents attacks deal 20% less damage and their attacks deal 20% more damage to opponents
I got up 300 rating to veteran with a different version of that team with: • Shadow steelix with both fangs and crunch • Mandibuzz instead of sableye and Water Pulse Mantine in the back
i'm almost using the same team just regular steelix instead of shadow and Unova stunfisk instead of sableye and trust me using both shields in the early game and winning a game that feels impossible to win my team is actually pretty weak to quag but haven't faced one. but i did win against multiple swampert leads
i tried this for a tiny bit thinking it would be super clever on that day where we got 100 battles haha. if anyones wondering this sadly does not work well with a normal steelix.
Yes tried the same. It drew out the empoleons and feraligators like clockwork, but couldnt fast move them down in time for them to throw 1 or even 2 hydro cannons, thereby taking your shields. I think shadow is key
Pretty new to pokemon go and pvp. How much elo can you gain in a set? I'm currently stuck around 1700-1850. Trying to get better to reach ace. 🙂 Love the videos. I really like your style of narration. Good job!
I ran thunder fang steelix for a couple days and it’s very overrated. Pretty much all water types in the remix meta either have hydro cannon (so you have to go down 0-2 shields to win) or are mudboys so you’d be better off running dragon tail. Also, Gligar is everywhere so that’s another matchup that’s worse with thunder fang.
Man, I see in GBL club the strongest and smartest Pokémon trainers who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. - Tyler Durden, probably
I swear I battled this exact team last night. Had had Ape in the lead, then cress and bink in the back. Was just a hard countered game in my favor. And I am really bad at counting. I mostly go off feeling unless it is something like incinerate or volt switch
@user-md5id7vi9d 0 seconds ago Tried this at the 2300-2400 level with regular steelix. Mediocre, won 1-3 battles per set. It drew out the empoleons and feraligators like clockwork, but couldnt fast move them down in time for them to throw 1 or even 2 hydro cannons, thereby taking your shields. I think shadow is key
That last game Steelix: I am surrounded by fear and dead men 14:32
Steelix paired up with steelix huh. Interesting comp
😂😂
Yeah, and the first steelix only has thunder fang, no charged move. Very interesting!!

12:19 : it'd be insane If ledian gets something like furrycutter.
Good lord, I'm not putting my Mantine on the lead after this anymore, lmao
imagine if thunder fang get a buff in next season whether it is in damage per second or in energy generation
then fire fang and ice fang would also need the same buff
thats why he’s the goat 🗣️
@6:36 "While this Jellicent does have Bubble, we're just going to see a switch into Sableye." Well done, HSH. To me, you switched it up well.

steelix in remix does not prefer eq. better run it with psychic fang or bs
0:27 wow, double Steelix team 🙃
What can I use instead of sableye?

What do u think?
Is shadow steelix better than its regular counterpart? I'm planning to build one
Shadow is better

@@circadudexl GG. I will always respect when i get crushed by a spicy pokemon/moveset.

That using sheilds early is like DrLuv style of play. Largies

Oooooooh, so THAT’S why I saw more of these than expected today.
Did I hear Tyler Durden is pairing up his Steelix with another Steelix and a Mantine? Time to bust out my triple Mewtwo team.
This guy has been a secret weapon for a while now, cats out of the bag i guess
You should do a video on shadow machamp. It has some counters in this meta, but it can be truly deadly in the endgame

A 5-0 gives about 70 to 80 elo!
4-1 40-50
3-2 10-20

depends on the teams you face and that depends on your elo tbh
Anyone else having the problem where they miss out on a fast move whenever they come in after one of their mons have been KOed

Never heard cycle reset before. I think I can assume what that means but someone should tell me
This guy fr shields like a mad man but damn do they go off as well
Always luv your video henry, could you do triple alligator theme team or triple dancing team v2 someday:)
I swear I battled this exact team last night. Had had Ape in the lead, then cress and bink in the back. Was just a hard countered game in my favor. And I am really bad at counting. I mostly go off feeling unless it is something like incinerate or volt switch
The anti-meta pop-off is always so satisfying to see.
We need you shout casting at the next worlds and regionals!
I shoutcasted 2 regionals this season! Excited for what next season brings 💪
"They paired it up with a steelix and a mantine" so a 2 man team?
Ok I may have misspoke 🤣
@@HomeSliceHenry happens to the best of us🤣
still an awesome video tho 🫡
Love ur content!
lol that last match get wrecked
I love steelix so much
It's cry even sounds cool in the og games.
Looks like my winning streak might end lmao
Lop this is why I seen so many quagsire
I definitely played against this guy so I was hoping I'd be in the vid but I think I beat him just on pure alignment so rip
Scrafty and ferrothorn run thru this team
Try crecelya ik i spell that wronge virizion and alololan muk
The math is not mathing here
You should date Trish Paytas😂
Hate the toxic snake but it’s HSH
Wrong IVs on steelix
Probably on purpose, trainer is likely hiding the real IV from others esp if they want to play competitive with it
blud also watches nba
