Good video, I saw someone's taking the whole thing, but this one is more easier than others .

Mines on a jack in drive way unfinished. I'm so upset. Now I have no vehicle. Will I have to get a front end alignment when it is done? What causes this to be replaced? It is only 6 years old. It was making noise only when I went over small bumps. Already replaced strut and the noise was still there. Now the control arm is in the middle of being replaced. Any advise would be helpful. 😢 Thank you

good morning and happy new year. even though I admire you and watch you and I miss you because you are also an old fashioned master. here I see an inadmissible mistake. I am not describing it for obvious reasons.justify if you want in your answer. be well

Don’t be dumb. You just have to take off the axel nut and then you can push the axle through a couple inches so you can get up in there with the ratchet wrench and takeoff the ball joint nut.

And you don’t need the Allen key wrench. If you take a jack or a bottle jack and jack up on the bottom side of the ball joint it will push it in tight enough where you could tighten up that nut without having to hold the Alan key. Come on buddy you can do better.

I'm sure that you know that the knuckle is aluminum right? Therefore if you don't hold the ball joint with the Allen key the ball joint ( that is steel )will strip out the knuckle that is aluminum. Thanks for you opinion .

@@jimthecarguy changed the hubs yesterday, on the van and the knuckle is definitely aluminum. I gave it a couple of love taps with the hammer and it definitely looked like it would deform. Aluminum strips like there is no tomorrow! Great video, I learned a lot! Subscribed it was so good!
