The MSRP sticker on this specific 2021 truck was $76,825... it's now 4 yrs old with 40k+ miles and they still want $65k+... not sure I'd classify that as "dirt cheap". With only about $11k depreciation over that time it's held it's value pretty well.
Yeah, I would say dirt cheap for a gen 3 would be under $50k. Gen 2 are still nuts between $40-50k when they had MSRP of what, $58k? Literally there is a 2020 Raptor with 63k miles for $54k in Henderson, NV (Fletcher Jones). I was looking because I was thinking they might finally be under $40k, was wrong. Hey at least if you buy one new, it will hold value lol
@@66racerI was looking at that one as well. Raptors hold their value here in Vegas area due to people with money and good areas to actually use them. I've seen some good ones posted in Utah. Prices are still very high.
Depends on your bank account. Might be cheap for some TH-camr, but a $60k+ truck is not dirt cheap for normal people. If you buy them in bulk because they're so cheap... I am happy to take one off your hands for a few hundred bucks.. or trade them for a few bags of dirt.
This Ford Truck has over 40K miles on it and considering that very few of these make it past 100k without major problems, 60k is a rip off. Dirt Cheap would be 20 to 30K.
It’s listed online for $65,450 at 40,689 miles. I bought my Gen 3 back in February for $67,900 with 27,800 miles. Seems like they will stay between $60-70K for up to 70-80K miles
This is similar to what happened to a lot of pony cars once upon a time. Although many of them are now refurbished collector's items and sell for big bucks, people didn't want to pay a lot for used ones back in the day, because it was assumed that they had been ridden hard, and put away wet. Unless you're willing to shell out for a very thorough inspection, it's safe to assume that most Raptors have had the living daylights beaten out of them, regardless of their outside appearance.
I would like to buy a 2024 Ford F-150, and the engines that are available in Saudi Arabia are V8 5.0, and there is only a 3.5 V6 turbo, and we have the Raptor R and the well-known regular Raptor. I am a follower of the channel. It is a beautiful channel. I would like your advice on which one to buy, v8 5.0 or v6 3.5. Note that I owned the raptor for two years and sold it a few days ago.
Agree with you completely on wheels that are larger than 18” on 4x4 applications. Why reduce the sidewall to such an extent on an off pavement vehicle? If the response is that the buyer doesn’t off-road, then that’s a bogus answer, given other F-150 trims that are more aligned for that purpose.
I'm poor. Always been poor, always will be poor. The average age of a "new" used truck I buy is 10-15 years. I bet these twin turbo space trucks will be bottomless money pits in 10-15 years. It'll be like buying a 10-15 year old BMW with 200,000 miles. 0-bankrupt in 2 weeks...
I was next to one the other day at a red light. The next light ahead, about 600 yards, was turning red as we turned green. Off the raptor goes full throttle pushing what sounded like a briggs and Stratton engine to the next red light. Wonder how much abuse that garbage engine can take driving like this. It’s funny as it seems all raptor owners drive this way and their trucks sound like go carts.
I've owned a 2007 Ford Expedition with 200k miles since it was new. I've been anticipating a Gen 3 Raptor at a fair price. But unsure about eco- boosts in the long run?
I’ve got a 2015 F150 Platinum with the 3.5 Ecoboost, 188,xxx miles. Bought it right at 100k. Oil changes, tires, spark plugs and a couple coil packs. Replaced a front differential bc my buddy is an idiot. But other wise it’s been solid as can be. Even ran it with 35 inch tires most of its life.
@@mikehughes8023 Yes, I really do not like the whole 'proud poser' look that these types go for. It screams "I'm anti-social, shameless, and rich enough to buy expensive badass wheels that are obviously never used offroad, and I don't care who knows it." I would honestly prefer steel wheels and all season tires to this setup
Why is this Temu Doug Demuro in my algo’s? Dirt Cheap? They sold new for $100k+ and now they’re $50k with 100k on the clock, up to $90k. How is this “dirt cheap?” They should have been $70k max new. Also, off road tire performance is based on a ratio. My preference, even in Florida, is all terrain but it’s a preference. You have no idea why the owner did what they did… so, to call their choices “stupid” is stupid.
Raptors are worthless , can't tow, can't take off road unless you live in the Mojave desert (too wide). Have to run premium fuel. My Platinum 3.5 with 375 hp will blow their doors off from a stop, plus I can tow 14k lbs.
Its pretty ridiculous looking being in one of these. What is cheap? 100k miles still cost like $60k......no thx........thats 47k mile of azz sweats you are touching there😂
Eco boost is one of the worst engines and they sound like crap. If You want a real pre runner that will last and destroy a raptor buy a 5.7 tundra put a long travel kit on it and a TRD supercharger and it will kill that pos ford and last 300k minimum.
Had buddy raptor with one not even 60,000 miles two blown engines and two transmission replaced first under warranty then after no more I had 2.7 ecoboost no issues sold it at 70,000 miles went Nissan v8 reliability love roar that engine
Older ford raptor might be better but a used raptor cheaper buy use will save you lot of money. New raptor will cost you a lot of money to get a new raptor

Dirt cheap? Without even watching the video I’m saying that truck is at least $60k
pretty wild, was expecting around $55k

That’s why you got ridge graps, my brother. Quietest, smoothest aggressive tires on the riad
Trucks should have never got above 50k no matter what options. It's insanity!
Dirt cheap? You’re so clickbait now lol

I’d have a hard time trusting a gen 3 out of warranty.
Well the title worked and we all clicked but Raptors are not dirt cheap. And even the 10 year old ones are still selling like hot cakes.
What’s a a used Shelby F150 going for? Maybe even a leftover 24..
So glad I flipped mine for 30K profit

“The doors still sound solid”? Huh? 😂
Do doors stop sounding solid ever? Lol
Solid for a ford
Yeah my current 24 xlt has about half the solidness of a 2014 Stx and 07 ford 500
I bet it $75,000 for that truck. Dirt cheap… uh nah. I got my gen 2 2018 fully loaded for $43,000. Now that’s a much better deal
Truck looks sick. Still expensive, tho.
I'm okay. Everyone knows the twin turbo V6 is trash. I'll stay with my old truck, can't afford a 7% interest and the insurance is killer right now

Mud tires look cool…
I guess
It's dirt cheap if there's gold in that dirt 😅.

Yeah id definitely just buy a new one if you can get financing for 50 might as well go for the new one .
We got different ideas of ‘dirt cheap’
And here I am wanting to trade my 19 f150 5.0 for a 7.3 excursion
Gen 1 v8 raptor or nothing.
Needs to be cheaper, almost all cars do still
For a v6? I’ll pass on that. I prefer the 1st gen with the natural aspirated v8. Or the raptor R and those aren’t dirt cheap.
