Try moving the thicker rolls to the front of the box. It still won’t close fully, however, the pitch of the slant/opening will be less severe. That might work?! 🤷🏼♂️

When the display case wouldn't close... trust me I know that feeling! 😭😭😭 I bought expensive new markers, I'm talking Copic, Prisma and Winsor Newton markers....got a nice wooden case to hold them.....they didn't fit 😖

I'm going to start saying that my hens eggs are "sakura" colored from now on. hehe One of my new hens just laid her first egg and it was only 3.5 cm long! So cute! They will get bigger as she gets older. :)
I'm sure Ikea makes the drawers only open that far for safety, but WOW it's SO ANNOYING! Not sure I have the patience to try to modify the rails like you did though 😂
