i’ve always wondered this but why do lots of ppl use adjustment layers instead of putting effects on the clip itself? is it higher quality or something?
it doesn't really matter with optics compensation but with warp the effect literally doesn't work if u put it straight on the clip, other than that its just preference ig
@@connecthypen warp on a normal layer just says there isnt enough pixels or something but optics compensation is fine if u just put it straight on the clip

@@sophiabeesoup precomposing is a very convenient way of kinda "cropping" the picture or video to fit the dimensions of your composition, for example. if u use a picture of 1500 x 1080 pixels in a 1080 x 1080 composition, u can precompose the clip/pic in order to make it 1080 x 1080(the same as the composition) so u dont have to exit after effects and use any other tool to crop it or make it fit the dimensions of a sqaure! same goes for any other comp size such as landscape, portrait etc etc.
heyy so i use blurmocurves to make transitions with zooms n rotations etc. but for some reason if I bring the image too close to the screen (with Z Dist) the edges of the clip are cut off when it gets so close? I dont have a mask on it but I was just wondering if anyone knows what it is lol :,) tyy
u have to download a plugin called saphire ! if u search on yt 'how to get saphire plugin' u should be able to find tutorials, make sure after effects is shut down when ur downloading it though or it wont work

can someone help? when i click the graphs in z dist, the graph is flat?? i clicked easy ease and everything. It's just flat

when i change my keyframes on the adjustment layer nothing happens it just stays the same as before i added the adjustment layer
on the graph it wont let me curve the lines it only lets me move the little yellow square
maybe try pressing the easy ease button below the graph
