He is certainly one of the most talented new Chinese singers.This song is a video game story about a young hero rescuing a princess from a dragon. He sang in 5 different voices which represents 5 different characters: a little girl, a young hero, a king, a narrator & a dragon. The song originally was sung by a computer made character and no one ever try to sing it by one person. Zhou Shen (Shenshen or Charlie)was the first one to attempted to try and even after his version until now, still No one ever try to do it afterwards.

Glad you’ve got to Charlie Zhou Shen. I suggest his cover of Memory from Cats next. It is the best cover I’ve ever heard. Have the English subs on as he adds a self written Chinese verse. Charlie is a fantastic singer who I rarely go a day without listening too (Hua Chenyu and Dimash being the other two) he is quite unique and I doubt you will be disappointed by any of his songs/covers.
You have come across a treasure! Zhou Zhen is the most amazing singer from China! He has so many amazing songs and performances and he never disappoints. This song was indeed a video game song. It was written for an AI singer, not intended for human singer and therefore didn’t figure in breathing room. Somehow Zhou Zhen was not only to sing it, but also switched between 5 different voices seamlessly. Yes every voice was his own. Totally amazing!

As far as I know, Zhou Shen studied vocal music in Ukraine when he was in college. Because his classmates came from neighboring countries, he learned Ukrainian, Polish and Russian. Since he loves watching Japanese anime, he can also order Japanese, plus Chinese and English, he should be able to speak at least six languages. Until now, I have heard him sing songs in more than ten different languages. It must be said that he has a talent for language.

Zhou Shen never sang with Dimash. You think the wrong guy. By the way, in all Zhou Shen's live performances have not been autotuned whatsoever and he always sings with full open mic which not so many artists will do nowadays because of their abilities. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now all around the world. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is extremely good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song which is the one you are reacting to on this video. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people's souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. You're totally right. I love his beautiful and eatherial voice since he had his first TV appearence in the show "The Voice of China" back in 2014. Sadly he never sang with Dimash but I hope that one day they will sing together.
Those captions you had on the screen were so wrong and made no sense. The song is really a tongue twister. He is so fun! Very talented. Charlie was on several Chinese singing shows. The two I have watched are The Super Vocals and Our Song. Both are terrific shows and worth the watching. Great talent on both of them.

If you’re willing to know more about him, I strongly suggest his new performance “Suan ni hen” with Liang Long (a member of Second Hand Rose, also a very distinctive band in China). They had totally different style before, so many fans have never imagined that they’ll sing together, but the performance was amazing! The original singer of “Suan ni hen” is Chen Xiaochun, mainly tells a story of a lovelorn person. But Zhou Shen and Liang Long took the song in a different way, and it felt more... Free and easy? I don't know how to describe it accurately. They combined many elements in it, like Chinese opera and dialect. No, no, no and no... Zhou Shen (call him "Shenshen" or "Charlie") is not Li Yugang (who sang with Dimash). I regret that Shenshen never sang with Dimash. He sang with Vitas but not with Dimash. Zhou Shen isn’t the man who sang the original “Intoxicated Concubine.” That was Li Yu-Gang (opera with pop music) who had sang with Dimash. They all have different singing styles .
If you type Zhou Shens Chinese name 周深 in TH-cam, you can find any of his songs you like to react or review。Wikipedia list all the songs debut date. He has matured and becomes very confident than from the first time he joined the China voice competition. He spends his birthday Sept 29 each year singing for 3-4 hours live stream from his or his parents room in appreciation of his fans. That’s why he’s got such a large fan base, aside from his many other talents. He’s great at inspiring young people in many ways.

So, so glad you reacted to Shenshen (easier to pronounce, and more friendly). He is certainly one of the most talented new Chinese singers.This song is a video game story about a young hero rescuing a princess from a dragon. He sang in 5 different voices which represents 5 different characters: a little girl, a young hero, a king, a narrator & a dragon. The song originally was sung by a computer made character and no one ever try to sing it by one person. Zhou Shen (Shenshen or Charlie)was the first one to attempted to try and even after his version until now, still No one ever try to do it afterwards.

Glad you’ve got to Charlie Zhou Shen. I suggest his cover of Memory from Cats next. It is the best cover I’ve ever heard. Have the English subs on as he adds a self written Chinese verse. Charlie is a fantastic singer who I rarely go a day without listening too (Hua Chenyu and Dimash being the other two) he is quite unique and I doubt you will be disappointed by any of his songs/covers.

This song was indeed a video game song. It was written for an AI singer, not intended for human singer and therefore didn’t figure in breathing room. Somehow Zhou Zhen was not only to sing it, but also switched between 5 different voices seamlessly. Yes every voice was his own. Totally amazing!

As far as I know, Zhou Shen studied vocal music in Ukraine when he was in college. Because his classmates came from neighboring countries, he learned Ukrainian, Polish and Russian. Since he loves watching Japanese anime, he can also order Japanese, plus Chinese and English, he should be able to speak at least six languages. Until now, I have heard him sing songs in more than ten different languages. It must be said that he has a talent for language.

Technically his debut song as a professional singer is a cover of "Huan Yuan", in China's version of "The Voice". "Big Fish"/大鱼 is his first hit song and representative work.
Zhou Shen never sang with Dimash. You think the wrong guy.
By the way, in all Zhou Shen's live performances have not been autotuned whatsoever and he always sings with full open mic which not so many artists will do nowadays because of their abilities.
To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now all around the world.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is extremely good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song which is the one you are reacting to on this video. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people's souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Even with his high note, it will not hurt your ears, not like so many artists out there. You're totally right. I love his beautiful and eatherial voice since he had his first TV appearence in the show "The Voice of China" back in 2014. Sadly he never sang with Dimash but I hope that one day they will sing together.

FYI, The subtitle is Chinese. The English subtitles is totally wrong. I am forwarding the lyrics posted by Alicea Chiew. I believe you may can hit the translated button can translated it to the languages that you needed. Most of the very long part of lyrics are names. When the song writers created this song were for AI(s) to sing, he did not add the breath part for humans at all. If you’re willing to know more about him, I strongly suggest his new performance “Suan ni hen” with Liang Long (a member of Second Hand Rose, also a very distinctive band in China). They had totally different style before, so many fans have never imagined that they’ll sing together, but the performance was amazing! The original singer of “Suan ni hen” is Chen Xiaochun, mainly tells a story of a lovelorn person. But Zhou Shen and Liang Long took the song in a different way, and it felt more... Free and easy? I don't know how to describe it accurately. They combined many elements in it, like Chinese opera and dialect. The song makes people feel happy, it’s worth to have a listen:)

No, no, no and no... Zhou Shen (call him "Shenshen" or "Charlie") is not Li Yugang (who sang with Dimash). I regret that Shenshen never sang with Dimash. He sang with Vitas but not with Dimash. In short, to summarize : he did not sing with Dimash. 😂

Zhou Shen isn’t the man who sang the original “Intoxicated Concubine.” That was Li Yu-Gang (opera with pop music) who had sang with Dimash. They all have different singing styles .

He has matured and becomes very confident than from the first time he joined the China voice competition. He spends his birthday Sept 29 each year singing for 3-4 hours live stream from his or his parents room in appreciation of his fans.
