Do you buy mystery bags? Are you interested in watching me open mystery bags on Yarn With Heart? Please let me know, as I want to show what you are interested in seeing. Thank you so much. 🙂
Hi Debra. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy them too. (Watching mystery bag openings is fun to me also.) Hint --This coming Friday, I hope to show a few Aberdeen's wool mystery bags. :-)
Hi Cathy, I love to watch the opening of yarn advents and mystery bags. It showcases so many new yarns and new yarn businesses to me, and it's so fun.😊
Hi Lia. Thank you so much for letting me know about the advents and mystery bags. (I also enjoy watching on videos too. I am a visual person. Seeing yarns on a video really does help me decide when it comes to online purchases.)
Hi Cynthia. Thank you so much for your comment. It is great to know that you enjoy watching unboxing of mystery bags or boxes. (I really like to treat myself. Got some during Black Friday. And maybe I will treat myself in February? For me, yarn lasts longer than Val. Day chocolate. lol)
On behalf of the @paperdotdesign team, we are honoured to be in one of your videos, Cathy! What a lovely channel. You are very sweet and talented. Huge thanks for your support and I wish you, your family, and your TH-cam community a beautiful Christmas time. Let's keep in touch 🧡
Warm welcome and thank you so much for the kind words and support! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you too, and all your team. I'm so happy to find that you enjoy yarn (on our etsy messages)! Hope you might pop in here, now & then, on Fridays 💖
Hi Rosanna. Thank you so much for the noticing the book cover colours in this wash cloth. I hadn't noticed, and was at a loss to what I might make this month! I am so grateful that you noticed and I will get an email to you. Thank you for letting me know that you love seeing mystery bags. (I do also, and happy that I am not the only one. lol)
It's so weird that sometimes I'm unable to leave comments on some videos. ❤ Love your top from Judy. I'm sure you had a wonderful night out. The activity Advents are great ideas. And, of course, the yarn is yarnolicious ❤ Beautiful snowflakes
Hi MamaG. Sometimes I can only leave a thumb too, and occasionally my comments disappear.. it's weird. No worries though. This "Judy original" top is going to be one of my favorites, for sure. Making the snowflakes is a fav thing this December. I was a bit nervous sharing about the activity advents (cause, exposing myself). Thank you for saying its a great idea.💖
Hi Cathy. Yes, I love watching you open mystery bags. It’s always fun to see what’s out there. Very pretty makes this week. The snowflakes are very pretty, and love the man hat and blanket. The colours are very pretty. See you next week, hope date night was wonderful!
Hi Tami. Thank you for letting me know that you enjoy the mystery bag videos. I got news that yarn I need to complete the blanket is on hold (my decision, as I don't want the courier to leave it at the entrance door to the building -- rather wait for Canada Post). So this coming Friday, I will have a different wip on the go. Date night was a lot of fun (classic rock band, played an album note-for-note, they were very good).
Hi Cathy! Yes, I love watching Mystery bag openings, so I can live vicariously through others. :) I have bought several now and thankfully I don't give in every time I am tempted, LOL. Wow the colors and design of your boggy blanket in progress are so beautiful!
Thank you so much for letting me know about the mystery bags! For me, they are a treat, for birthdays/Christmas... sometimes for Mother's Day... and depending on when they go on sale. (About the Boggy blanket, I am so happy that the RH Stripes is really working up nicely in Judy's pattern.)
Hi Cathy love your vest. We are starting up members live on Sunday at 2pm again this weekend 😊 love a good advent. What fun 😊❤😊what concert are you going to?.😊absolutely would love to see you open mystery yarns. I’m learning a lot about yarn from the women in my community who donates almost all of the yarn I use to make CHEO blankets. Today she gave me 10 garbage bags full. My house is a yarn overflow.😮😮😮would love to join the dishcloth Crochetalong 😊
Hi Shannon. What? Member's Live today already.... and I am taking it to mean that S is well on the mend. I will see you this Sunday! The concert was a classic rock band that plays albums note-for-note. It was a sold out audience. We had a lot of fun, and Jeff is looking for the next concert, maybe in the spring, that we might attend. The Creator definitely keeps letting you know that CHEO is the right direction. Bless you for all you do. (The dishcloth CAL that Laura is running -- Very Fun. Let me know if you decide to join.) Thank you for letting me know that you enjoy watching about mystery bags. :-)
Hi Lori! Thank you for letting me know about the mystery bags. I enjoy watching them too. (I am a visual person, and seeing yarns on video is a big help to me.) Loving the way the Retro Stripes is working up. Very nice.
Love what you are wearing, I recognized it right away as what Judy had on too. Fun to open all those presents at once! I have one mustard Ogo if you would like it to make more hats and scarves, or a bigger project. I will try to stuff it in your box. Hope you had fun at the concert ❤
Thank you so much Diane. (Judy is so talented, and I received compliments from people I don't even know when at the concert... the poncho is a compliment-magnet, well deserved.) Since you are making acrylic mittens, will you need the Ogo's for those? I was going to ask you the same thing -- can you use it for your markets? As I can send these 2 your way (it is a nice colour for animal mittens). The concert was So Much Fun. Please remind me next time we are talking, and I will try to play a snip or two from my phone...
Hi Cathy! I have the advent from Cambridge fibres too. The 2 balls of Christmas coloured variegated yarn are 100% acrylic. I had to message Cambridge fibres because I was also wondering if it was cotton. She said to message her anytime if I had questions about anything in the advent. She is so nice!. I love watching people open mystery bags.
Hi Alison! Thank you so much for letting me know that the Christmas coloured yarn is acrylic... even better! (I have the cotton one from last year, and really do need an acrylic Christmas one, so that I could do a wearable). You are so right, Kerry is very very nice. Thank you for letting me know that you like mystery bags too. (I am a big mystery bag supporter -- buying and watching. lol)
Thank you for letting me know that you are interested in the mystery bags. I am curious about Deramores. This is a place I have not heard of until now. Time for me to do an internet search. lol
Hi Cathy, I don't buy mystery bags, myself. I have been tempted but resisted in the end. I guess a yarn advent is a mystery in a wsy. I do enjoy watching mystery unboxings, however. Hope you had fun at your concert.
Hi Dimitra. Your yarn advent is a wonderful mystery. I absolutely love watching people open their wool minis. So gorgeous! Thank you for letting me know that you enjoy the mystery unboxings. The concert was a local band, playing album "note-for-note". So much fun (and Jeff is looking at what is offered in the spring. Maybe we will go to another?)
Hi miss Cathy! ❤ you look nice, I hope you have fun on your date. I think it would be fun to see you open mystery bags and presents. It let's me see yarns I've never heard of either. Please share. Ooo so many goodies. The citrus cakes are nice. I love your boggy creek blanket. Do you starch your snowflakes?
Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for the compliment. Jeff and I had a great time at the concert (it was a band that plays classic music, note for note exactly like the album, and they were very good). Thank you for letting me know seeing mystery yarn is fun for you too (that is something that I enjoy watching too). So far, I have not starched the snowflakes, but would like to learn how.
Cathy I love mystery bags and love seeing them opened on video. Hope you and Jeff enjoyed your date night. The poncho Judy made looks wonderful on you. Yeah for the fun gifts from Cambridge Fibers. What is your favorite color?
Thank you so much for letting me know that you love seeing mystery bags opened on video. That is something that I really enjoy too, and sometimes it helps me make a decision about what I eventually buy. Jeff and I had a lot of fun at the concert... the band was very good, and Judy's poncho got compliments from people who came up to me and asked about it. She is so talented! Thank you for the question about my favorite color. A quick answer -- I recently discovered that I often buy blue, and blue/greens. Those are some of my favorites. Color is a big conversation for me though, and maybe I can say more this coming Friday?
Thank you so much for letting me know that you like watching the mystery bags. And yes, I have to say, occasionally one or two skeins in a bag haven't been "my cup of tea". Those mysteries are my lottery/gamble, beyond that, I'm a play it safe gal. lol
@@YarnWithHeart I'm not a gambler even a dollar lottery ticket is out of my wheel house . I've always said that when the day comes that I can afford to throw money out the car window, I will buy a ticket. I could never throw money away 😂
That is a very good way to think of things! It makes total sense... and might explain why I also do not buy lotto tickets (I am not at all lucky, and do not win at such things. My luck is at almost always having green lights when driving, not at winning lottos. lol) Also, I never ever pick the "fast lane" at the grocery store -- that is where my husband is luckiest.
Hello Cathy W would you like to see me open mystery yarn bags? My answer is yes I would love to see that because it gives me new ideas as to what new yarns are out there and maybe even projects to make with them.❤🎉
That is a great idea. Thank you. Are there special notions and things that you usually keep in your "on the go" bag also? If you are ok with it, maybe I can share this idea on the next video. :-)
