Take a look inside our trip to Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios! We had the best time ever, didn't leave the resort once. There was plenty to do, the food was amazing, and the staff was super attentive! Highly recommend a trip there.

If youre looking for a place to be active you should really try moon palace cancun, or if youre more of the lounging and enjoying relaxing type You'd love Sun palace!

Hey! Was the covid testing on-site at the hotel? What was the process of booking that? Great video, Im going next week! 💕
For the return home, you are able to book your COVID test on site. It was super easy and quick.
How was the food? I heard this place is popular and the food was good. I’m booked elsewhere next month but kind of wish I’d booked here. I guess I’ll have to come back soon 😂
The food was so amazing!!! We didn’t order anything that was bad. We still talk about the jerk hut 😍

Honestly, there weren’t a ton of people there! It was awesome! Had the pool and beach to ourselves for most of the trip. The last day there, a bunch of families showed up and it got pretty full. I’m guessing it was spring break for a lot of the families as our last day was on a Monday.

We got our tests from our local health department, but some people we went with got theirs from a local pharmacy and they were fine!

That's a very small balcony. Barely space to stretch. Balconys are deal breakers for me. I assume pricier room categories there have larger balconys?
Definitely not huge for sure, yes bigger suites have bigger balconies. We didn’t spend much time in the room though so it just depends on your preferences. 😊
Was the sail boat ride included with the resort?
Yes it was!!

So much fun! Reservations weren’t required at the restaurants, except for the Japanese restaurant. Very simple, you just go the day of between a certain time frame (they tell you) and you can get a spot 😊
What type of activities/excursions does the resort offer? Are there good places to snorkel?
Lots of water sports (hobie cat, water tricycle, stand up paddle board, snorkeling). There isn’t super great spots for snorkeling unless you pay for someone to take you to the reef. There’s also a surfing simulator! Lots of other excursions you can book when you get there for an additional fee.
Did they except Rapid covid test?! How was customs?!
We did not get rapid tests but a couple people in our group did and they were accepted. Customs was a breeze! They are very organized.

We booked during a promo that isn’t going on anymore so the price we paid won’t be accurate. They may have another promo going on, I’d definitely check the website. We flew in on southwest.

How the heck ya fly to the islands in a Pandemic, then again knowing Jamaica, they would tell yall to still come we got you covered lol
It was pretty easy! COVID testing before we were allowed entry to Jamaica and tested before we left to come back home. Flights were not at full capacity either, it was a great experience. I wish we could always travel like this. Less people!!

Hi there! Inside the common areas masks were required yes. Outside, no.
Did you ever leave the property for tours etc?
We didn’t this time around - there were a lot of restrictions on what we could and couldn’t do due to COVID policies in Jamaica at that time.
@@theandfam1202 if you could, where would you go? We have some friends that want us to meet them there in September 2023 but I’m wondering some good things to do while they’re outside of the property.
