Why Do So Few Remember The Deadliest Plane Crash In Charlotte's History?

I witnessed this when I was six…it barely cleared our apartment, then explosions. It was so loud as it went over.
The men in their business suits went running into the woods to help. By the time they got us on the school bus, I remember seeing the men bloodied and some were crying. My hair stands up when I hear a low-flying plane to this day. Was just awful. 😞
