Exercise Tutorial: Cable Machine Hip Abductions

  • In standing attach a cable to the farthest ankle. Keep the back straight and the knees slightly bent and the abdominals contracted. You can hold on to the machine to maintain your balance. Raise the leg outward (abduction) as far as you can without letting the foot or the pelvis turn outward. Return to the starting position and repeat.
