Nadia Taylor I just hold them up in front of shelves but I definitely get some weird looks as they see me take a pic of one book and I think there’s no more so I put it away. Then I end up taking it out again right away and taking loads more 😂
You should try what Ella from drinking by my shelf does. Instead of book hauls and wrap ups she does this thing called balancing the books. This is where each month she tries to, as the name says, balance her books. It’s where she either read the same number of books which come on to her TBR or more so and if they don’t balance she unhauls books. This might be a way of helping to decrease your growing TBR. X
Lmao as a person who doesn't read romance, the fact that there are enough of these for you to say you "avoid" construction worker romance novels was pretty mind-blowing and hilarious ngl.
Call Down The Hawk was fantastic! The Conference of the Birds is on my TBR. The previous book A Map Of Days focuses heavily on the time travelling and the history of the ymbrynes.
I've always said the same thing about Utopia vs dystopia! Well, ever since I read Utopia anyway, because the whole point of that book is that Utopia isn't as perfect and wonderful a place as it was meant to be.
your pitch are really amazing. I always watch your book hauls to keep updated with what's new in the bookish community. now I know what to buy for myself on my birthday month
Straight on Till Morning sounds so interesting!!! As do so many of these! I posted my finance/business focused TBR the other day and I’m working on reading a book on economics (which is not my favorite, but I really wanted to learn from it 😂) so I’m definitely enjoying watching videos like this & heading about some fun, interesting books! Thanks for sharing!! ✨
I actually got a cook book version of Alice for Christmas. It's the End of the Fork Series by Buffy Naillon, and it's got the entirety of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, with some history on Victorian England regarding food and eating with recipes. It's so cute and good.
there a Belgian author who had written a book called “hard hart” which translates to “hard heart” and it’s also a love story that happens during college! I liked the book and the author overall! Maybe there’s a translated version of it :)
You're motivating me to try and tackle my TBR instead of just constantly buying more books, whoops. It's only ~checks goodreads~ 584 books long... god.
I'm super excited to read another disney Twisted tale! They are so fun! I also have a huge haul coming bc honestly, I have no self control but I want to focus on reading what I have now before buying any more
I’m going to be honest..... The Bromance Club is AMAZING!!!!!!! I read it in 1 day! I legit called out of work. It’s compelling especially because I am married and understand the disconnect that can happen in a marriage.
Love a good Peter Pan retelling! I've got my first Adam Silvera read coming up on my TBR (They Both Die at the End), so I'm pretty excited for that one. Maybe I'll pick up Infinity Son if I enjoy it. Also still need to get around to Scythe. The TBR never ends, lol.
Yes!! I totally agree that The Toll wasn’t as good as the others and was a little dull as times. Still an amazing series overall!! I would give Thunderhead 6 stars if I could lol
Omg I have about 150 books unread too! But one of my 2020 goals is to read at least a couple chapters of a print book I own a week and it really helping me so far :)
I audibly gasped when you read the synopsis for Once Upon A Sunset bc FILIPINA REPRESENTATION!!! 🇵🇭❤️ Would have never heard about this book without watching this video! Excited for this to come out and hear your thoughts and see you learn more about the Filipino culture! Thanks for everything you do, Hailey. ❤️
Hi Hailey! Love your videos. If you're looking for a fascinating Peter Pan retelling, try the Wendy Darling series by Colleen Oakes. Beautiful and a bit dark, but SO GOOD!
My boyfriend just doesn't understand my love for books. He bugs me all the time about buying more books or second copies of special editions of a series I love (like Harry Potter ect) but I think he'll come around when we move into a house and they aren't in his face 24/7 in the livingroom.
@@SuperRachel808 he's actually a very sweet guy. We've been together 10 years, we just have a 700 square foot apartment so they take up a lot of space. He doesn't actually get mad about it, just frustrated at the space the books take up.
SidneyVallen I can understand that. My boyfriend used to get mad at me also about books. But not because I kept buying them, more because er didn’t have space and they were everywhere!!!! Once you guys move into a bigger space it’ll get better :)
I loved Ninth House. It was very different than anything else she has written but it was wonderful and I cannot wait for her to write more in this world.
So many good ones in here!! Btw love the sweater! 💛 I’ve been thinking about buying Ninth House too but I’m a lil nervous about it because of the mixed reviews.
Hailey, I don't know if you have it already, but I know you can get the Paper Mill Press edition of Alice in Wonderland from Book Outlet. I think that this edition is absolutely gorgeous.
I absolutely love the twisted tales books! I have the Peter Pan, Cinderella and the Frozen one on my Amazon >.< They're just so amazing. I love the Scythe trilogy, but haven't read the third one but the second one bored me a bit, I might still read the third one though.
My friend got me the Beauty & the Beast version of the twisted tales series for my birthday! It's my least favorite disney movie but her favorite lol I hope I like it!
Catz R Nora Roberts released a new book called ‘Of Blood and Bone’, and Tomi Adeyemi posted side by side shots of their book covers and accused Roberts of trying to profit off her success. There were several problems with her accusation: 1. There are many books with the words ‘Blood and Bone’ in the title, and Roberts was well within her rights to title her book however she saw fit. 2. Roberts has been publishing books for almost 40 years and is hugely popular in her own right - she certainly doesn’t need to ride anybody’s coat tails. 3. Roberts responded by explaining that she had titled and submitted her manuscript to her publisher before the release of ‘Children of Blood and Bone’, and had in fact never heard of Adeyemi’s novel. Adeyemi got absolutely roasted on Twitter over the whole thing. I’ve had her book on my to-read list, but I’m hesitant now because I think I’ll just look for reasons to not like it. She was so rude, self-entitled and unprofessional, and as a new author extremely disrespectful to a veteran of the industry.
omg! this video was awesome! i have already ordered 10 books which were suggested by you! now ill buy more your choice of books is really very good..!!
I wanted to go haul some books today but I got to store and each book was like $24.00 🙃 so I put them on hold at the library. One day I shall own them all lol
Hailey be like, "if you know, you know." Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Love that. You should check out Project Wendy, I think it's called. Great graphic novel retelling of Peter Pan, it's a mental health take.
Too many books? Never. The problem is not enough bookshelves. Loved this entire video.
I definitely need more shelves.. They're floor to ceiling and towers 😂📚
Me after watching Hailey's book haul: adds 10 new books to TBR list (which is already 500+ books).
Also me: I NEED TO ADD MORE YEARS TO MY LIFE!
Ikr I take pics of the books that I want but can’t buy at that moment and there is hundreds of pictures in the folder 😂
Nadia Taylor I just hold them up in front of shelves but I definitely get some weird looks as they see me take a pic of one book and I think there’s no more so I put it away. Then I end up taking it out again right away and taking loads more 😂
I started early so I have more time!
MMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
dude ive been spam watching her videos and i had just started my TBR list and in two days im at 81 and constantly adding
*your sunny personality and a ton of books!!!!!... doesn't get better than this!!!!* 💞💞💞
PLEASE do a twisted tales readathon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sophia YES!
omg yes please!!!!!
Yes pleaseeee I wanna know if they’re worth the buy
Yes!!! Came to say the same thing!!!
I've got a couple and I'd love to read them together 😊
"I do own these books, but not these editions" a mood 😃
I didn’t even know it was possible to have that many editions of Alice and wonderland, damn
The echo really isn’t that bad
I think the 4th bookshelf in there helped! I also had put a blanket on the floor in my desperation 😅

Hailey please please do the Disney readathon i really wanna see it! 💖
I'd like to join too!
I'd join in if she does x
Big book hauls are the best
I love and appreciate the fact that you put the book in the bio as well!!
I’m so happy that you are going to start to tackle your TBR.
I would be interested in a tbr pile plan video! I think that's a great idea :)
Call Down The Hawk was fantastic! The Conference of the Birds is on my TBR. The previous book A Map Of Days focuses heavily on the time travelling and the history of the ymbrynes.
If you want to build your classics collection look up the Arcturus editions, they’re cute and in readable form.
Hadn't heard a thing about Twisted Tales but now I wanna read all of them! A readathon would be the perfect excuse to buy at least a few of them!!
I litterally thought my tbr was huge, but it's only 29 books 😂
I have about 200 on my list
My tbr will never be under 300 books and I’ve come to terms with that because every time I buy 30 I add 54 praying for more time as I type
I loved Get a life Chloe Brown and undercover bromance so much! I hope you enjoy them too 😊 I can't wait to read some of these
I can't believe its a book haul. I don't even have that many books in total🤣
I’d love to see a separate video on how you plan to tackle your TBR!
Straight on Till Morning sounds so interesting!!! As do so many of these! Omg and Curses and Kisses sounds amazing!! 😍
Your dwarfing my book collection Hailey 😂
the flatshare was one of my FAVORITE arcs i've had the pleasure of reading!! i really hope you love it!!

For the eco in your apartment you can use noise blocking panels to make the noise in your home go away
I would like to see the game plan video for your tbr! ❤️
I love your jumper 😍. You really suit that colour 💛
You're motivating me to try and tackle my TBR instead of just constantly buying more books, whoops. It's only ~checks goodreads~ 584 books long...
god.
Yes please for the TBR game plan video! I hope you're still doing an unhaul video as well, those are my faves 😊
I'm super excited to read another disney Twisted tale! They are so fun! I also have a huge haul coming bc honestly, I have no self control but I want to focus on reading what I have now before buying any more
My goal is to read all of my tbr books this year, or atleast most of it😅I have over 100 but I'm feeling optimistic.
When your captions read “hello everyone Italia.” 😂😂 Love you, Hailey!
I heard the Philippines in the synopsis. Instantly adding Once Upon a Sunset on my wishlist just because I'm from there. hahaha
I love your wavy hair. So beautiful. It's way too many books I would never able to read, you are very smart. I like your bookshelf too. :)
Yes! Disney Twisted Tale video!(spoiler free because I am interested in this series)
The bromance book club is so much fun! I loved the audiobook❤️
Carina I LOVED IT!!!!
I’m going to NOLA at the end of the month for my birthday and I’ve been saving “The Beautiful”.

The Guinevere Deception is probably my favorite cover of 2019
Loved watching your big book haul!!
Terrific choices!! SO excited for All Your Twisted Secrets!
When you unhaul, please unhaul to my address. You and I have the same taste in books.
Exactly ‼️😂😂😂 Saves a lot of money as well. But that's a good idea to be honest.🤔
I just hauled a bunch of books yesterday but now im feeling the itch again arghhh those beautiful classics 😭💖💖💖
I’m going to be honest..... The Bromance Club is AMAZING!!!!!!! I read it in 1 day! I legit called out of work. It’s compelling especially because I am married and understand the disconnect that can happen in a marriage.
Bromance is freaking amazing!! So excited for book 2 in May :)

Time of Our Lives sounds like its gonna be right up my alley, can’t wait for it to be released

The bromance book club is so wholesome! I recommend it
I’ve heard such great things about Bromance!
I've been wondering about it. Is it LGBT+? That's one reason I haven't tried it yet.
All these books have such pretty covers🥺
I swear this year i m goona read all of these books.
🤩🤩
It's like a really good TBR list. I m ready to spend a ton of money!!!!
The wicked king was my favorite out of that series.
Please do a Disney twisted tales read-a-thoung.
Ooh I love long videos like this ❤️! Also, are there really so many construction workers in romance novels that it can become an actual dislike 😂?
I was wondering when ATSAT would come up! glad i stayed until the ending.
I just finished the Children of Virtue and Vengeance audio book and it was absolutely stunning!
Can't wait to get to that one, I loved the first book. 😊

When you said you were reading Goblet of Fire I thought you meant for the first time... that gave me a fright!

That one!
Me: ok time to start my TBR pile
Hailey: uploads video
Me: “starts ordering every book to make the pile bigger then the Atlantic Ocean”
The Thief, 1st book in a series recommended to me by a friend, is pretty good. So far I'd call it witty 👍

If you like Peter Pan retellings, have you read The Child Thief by Brom? Loved it!
Tomi Adeyemi is probably lying low after the whole Twitter incident with Nora Roberts 🤦🏻♀️

I never heard about that. That's a shame. I love Children of Blood and Bone.
I read the Beauty and the Beast retelling and i loved it.
I loved flatshare so so much! The audiobook was fantastic!
Your book haul is like half of my entire collection 😂😂
It's interesting to see how much your reading tastes have changed since I started watching your channel

The dog books come up* me well I know what I’m getting my best friend for her birthday 7 months early. 😂😂😂😂
