Seriously underrated contestant
Such balls. £32,000 to £500,000 with only one lifeline to his name and didn’t even need it. What a run.
He looks like Alfred Molina
Definitely use the 50/50. Something at the back of your mind might come to you when you are looking at two answers instead of four.
True but at the same time it can backfire by giving false confidence. I guess from that point of you I understand it, but it still is very irksome for me that he would just choose to leave a lifeline on the table and not use it if it’s there.
I've spent sixty years in Australia and never heard a shark termed Noah. Lucky guy to get that one right.
@@toni4729: Same thing. Australian rhyming slang is a thing, and derived from Cockney rhyming slang. The way Australians speak is highly influenced by the proportion of Cockney convicts sent there
@@ericforsyth Trouble is Aussies give it away, they tell the whole story. Cockneys don't.
I think he got one lifeline left with half a million quid.
Can't blame Pete for not wanting to use the 50/50… if he didn't know, that lifeline would've been useless either way!
Indeed when it comes to English or Australia I have general knowledge because I was born and raised in Ceylon ( bloody British colony )
Why does this guy remind me of buzz lightyear 😮 I think it's the eyes
21:00 I would've said Chemist just by the Composer's name
2002-2005 Studio
I hope these people realize that winning a substantial amount will put them into a higher Tax Bracket in The UK and a large amount of the Prize will go to The IRS!!
They explicitly say that the winnings are tax free = ITV paid any taxes.
If he use 50:50 he might have his clue in 1 million pounds
Not really. He never heard of the composer, so it’d still be a guess. Should’ve used the lifeline anyway just to not needlessly leave it on the table if it’s there but I’m pretty sure he still would’ve walked away.
I was delighted that I knew the final answer. At 77 I was proud of my memory. Then I discovered I had seen this episode before and forgotten it. Bugger!
😂 We've all been there, Tony!
