I'm jealous of your perfectly manageable hair and your ability to properly create something so cool. I wish I had the talent to pull off most of these hairstyles I watch on youtube. I have long very thin hair so most of the time I get super motivated and confident. Then I give it my best shot which usually looks like a one handed drunk toddler did my hair in the dark. Next comes the inevitable mental breakdown where I scream/threaten to shave my head. Finally I give up, ruin my makeup from angry crying and 45 minutes later I'm throw it up in a plain old ponytail and now I'm late for work. Anyone else? Or is it just me. I can't even fishtail without it turning into what can only be described as a dreadlock. But not any dreadlock... like I've slept in the dirt at Bonnaroo for 4 days.
wow no words but try flaxseed gel and try aloevera with yogurt my hair used be dandruff but the aloe yogurt mixture made it smooth and dandruff free. the flaxseed gel also made it less frizzy and shiny! hope this helps
Practice. I’m almost 12 and I’ve really been trying. I have long, thick, oily-ish, greasy-ish hair, and I’ve been at least trying to learn. Not very good at it yet, but I can relate with it looking bad. Lots of practice. I usually just wear my hair in a side braid now, sometimes a side fishtail braid, but side braid is my usual. I’m homeschooled, and might be going back to in person soon,’so I really want to get good at hair, I love hair but never thought about cool hairstyles until now.

I believe in you! I learned how to braid my hair last year and I definitely get your frustration. Everytime I tried to braid my hair I would almost cry 😂 but after I got over trying to get it to look good on the first try it got easier. Overtime your hands should get used to the motions and you'll find a way to hold your hair that works for you. Good luck!

Tried and failed doing these styles. However--i hope & pray that these styles and practically almost every current trend--never go out of fashion. I did however have a few styles similar to these in the early to mid 2000's when I was a tween and teen.
And as a kid a couple of times I had plaits. My sister was the same.
Furthermore soon I'm going to invest in wigs, hairpieces, etc of a wide range of styles, lengths, densities, colours etc so hopefully will have more luck x 🙏🙏🙏🙏

My hair is extremely fine thick long and heavy. What hair pins would you - and y'all ladies watching - suggest? Something I want to know, are hairstyles using pins etc. even an option for a working in a windy country country girl? My hair is so heavy that buns and ponytails ALWAYS slide down, are there elastics that don't allow this? My mom just bought a water softener shower head so that should help my hair allot but still... any hairstyles advice for my kinda hair is very much appreciated!
