Join us on an adrenaline-fueled journey as we tackle the rugged and challenging Section 6 and 5 of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Routes on our trusty Aprilia Tuareg! Get ready for an unforgettable off-road experience, filled with stunning landscapes, tough obstacles, and a few unexpected twists along the way.
The Aprilia Tuareg proves to be a true beast, conquering the treacherous trails with its powerful engine and nimble handling. It effortlessly takes on rocky terrain, steep ascents, and slippery descents, making every mile an absolute joy.
However, the adventure isn't without its challenges. As we push our bikes to the limit, the Outback skidplate bracket fails and we find ourselves in a sudden fix. But don't worry, we manage to patch it up and keep going, embracing the unpredictability of off-roading.
Meanwhile, on a heart-pounding section filled with ruts, our fellow rider on the KTM takes a tumble. It's a sobering reminder of the importance of caution and respect for the trails we ride. Safety is always a top priority, and our experienced team quickly comes to their aid, ensuring everyone's well-being.
Throughout this breathtaking journey, we witness the true spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and the joy of exploring the great outdoors on two wheels. The Washington BDR proves to be the ultimate playground for off-road enthusiasts, offering a mix of technical challenges and awe-inspiring beauty.
So, buckle up and join us on this incredible adventure, as we showcase the raw power of the Aprilia Tuareg, the camaraderie among riders, and the unyielding spirit of exploration in the wild backcountry of Washington State!

You bet!
Good watch
Thank you!
Great stuff sameer, thanks
Glad you liked it!
I remember a few of those ruts. Tried to go up a few of them. Would be a lot easier without all the gear!
yeah, agreed would have been easier without weight.
i rode section 1 on the way home from breaking my ankle , i didnt know it was broken yet , on the ORBDR with my son just 3 weeks ago so i rode section 7 of the ORBDR and this on the broken ankle in net effect , the doctor was not impressed , i was shocked it was actually broken , now stuck in a cast/boot unable to ride or drive , right ankle..
Hope you get better soon!
Thanks for the video….I think your camera angle is perfect….it really shows the track well. Also, it sounds as though you may have had an AT DCT…..I have that machine now and am interested in a Tuareg too…..I’d really love to hear your thoughts on the change of motorcycles . Thanks
AT DCT was amazing, best bike ever owned but it was getting too heavy for stuff like this. Tuareg proved itself well, Aprilia has done a great job with the bike! Suspension, weight, power, balance was perfect for BDR.
I could've hear ... what crashbars do you have in which the mount is cracking?
Nice video! Thanks
Outback mototrek, the skid plate bracket cracked.
It’s time to #defund and start over from the beginning. This all starts with leadership. There has to be new leadership and new training.
Perhaps Luis (sp?) didn't make that rut cause you deprived him of music ! Lost a rider in first 15 minutes ? Shocker ! Didn't know there was racing on BDR's , thought there were Bikes travelling in BOTH directions , general (common sense) rule "ride right" ?! Eh ?!
We travelled in group and Luis had 3 riders with him, we never let anyone ride by themselves. Luis is a good rider, the rut which was on the "Right" side of the trail got him... could have happened to anyone. I don't think any of us were riding too fast, we just gave each other enough distance to avoid dust.
Thanks for watching :)
