I'm happy that you guys addressed the attack on the Capitol. Living in a Red state is a nightmare right now, and it's reassuring to hear from others with my same values. I am moving somewhere else as soon as I am done with school.
I haven't watched the episode yet but I know Keith was on something called like Bring the Funny or something like that with Lewberger for comedy. They got pretty far I believe Keith said before
When I was in Culinary school, we had a class in a refrigerated classroom and it was a Meat Cutting and Processing Class! On the first day of class we walked in and there was a 800 pound side of beef, the we had to break down and cut into roasts and chops and loins and using a band saw to cut the bones up! It was very interesting! We learned to make sausage and to figure the ratios of ground beef, like %80 %20 and such!
To add to the oil conversation, the reason why you don’t wanna cook with extra virgin olive oil as pointed out by Miles is that it has a low smoke point (burns easily). Also extra virgin oil is mostly used for salads 😃!!
The only reason I cook with it is because it’s less inflammatory for me since I don’t have a gallbladder. Regular oils (like veggie, canola, and even sometimes coconut) don’t agree with my digestive system. I generally don’t cook at high heats (like searing. I tend to use my oven for meat more than the stovetop) so I’ve never had a problem with it smoking instead of cooking.
I love watching this podcast. I’m from a state where we are mostly open. Kids are going to school in person, stores are open, and we can eat at restaurants. However I continue to enjoy your podcast about the struggle of staying indoors and being under lock down. As an essential employee I feel like I have watched the world stand still while nothing has really changed for me.
21:19 my little side thought ; it makes sense that people who dont have a full sense of self whatever that may be, get tied into cults, hate groups, or just morally bad relationships in general. I definitely think if this country or any for that matter focused on truly helping people mentally and physically to be their best self the number of these reoccurring issues would go down.
I'm not with big oil, but I am a Chef. Extra virgin olive oil (evoo) does not have a lower smoke point. Evoo is the from the first press and has the most depth of flavors. Heating it destroys a lot of those properties. It's generally used for dressings or finishing foods. So basically don't drop the extra cash for the evoo if you're using it for frying, etc. Or do. Who cares?
I would like to encourage Keith on his Gaston-level pursuit to eat 31 eggs...because as a man Gaston eats 5 dozen eggs so he’s roughly the size of a barge...and I think that’s exactly what Keith is going for.
As someone who listened then saw, the Miles art part was great! I tried to imagine what the pictures look like then what I saw was sometimes very different. Great show this week
Keith!! To just get stronger, you should just start incorporating more weights into your workouts. Your appetite will slowly get more and more great and you can adjust your meals accordingly. Start off with weights, it’s the easiest way to get stronger. Good luck!!!!
Appreciate you Keith and all of the Try Guys for being so straightforward about white supremacy and oppression and for saying what nobody else wants to admit because the reality is too sad to name ❤️🙌🏽 that’s no slight against anyone else at all - Ive noticed this with both Keith and Eugene, and I am curious if growing up in the South and inside of more overt & noticeable WS cultures. I graduated from a similar environment, and both Keith & Eugene have deeply impacted me with their insight and care on these topics, as well as focusing on the humanity of individuals affected & ensuring we are not erased in the process of pontificating. I have been organizing in my community since summer of last year; for many of us the movement never stopped at all. We are still organizing everyday against WS culture, institutions, and ramifications and these moments of unexpected solidarity have touched my heart when it felt hopeless for us more than once before. Thank you
I like any pitch themed episodes! The one with the pitch for the Christmas movie was good, the restaurant/parking app/giant bug episode was good, Miles' wedding was good, so more of that is fun haha. Also, I'm big into politics, so happy to hear you all talk about politics (though maybe it would also be cool to have guests who are other POC, particularly Black and indigenous). Keep up the fun content!
When you talked about how some people were desperate for a community it reminded me of the 70s when cults were so prevalent. My former roommate and I briefly lived across the street from the Moonies, and he was approached by them once. In these turb - ulent times we need that advice that will go for Miles.
Miles...Maggie did talk about the Vitamix on the 'other podcast'. She said she has been making almond butter and virgin margaritas. **Clarification on Oregon** Decriminalized small amounts of illegal drugs. And mushrooms for research (not recreation).
Miles almost has it right this week! I was almost super excited! But squeeze oil bottles aren't quite where it's at. You need spritz bottles. They come in plastic or glass and have a lid. Plus you get all of the quick access of the oil, while not drenching everything in a squeeze bottle portion. Perfect on salads and for cast iron pans and air fryer food where you don't need a ton of oil!
This is the reason I really love & admire the Try Guys and their podcast! They’re willing to talk about the difficult and very real things going on in the world, educate us via personal experiences & info they’ve gathered themselves, and then go into something as chaotic as Miles Nation Centub art competitions and friendship tests 😂 Both this & the Try Wives’ podcast are something I look forward to every week 💛
48:40 Keith, the moral of the story is to not put paper towels on the same work surface as flames smh - but smokers totally let their ovens go over-night 🖤 I used to work in a smokehouse, it’s cool!
So usuallly, or at least the people I got nutritional advice from count weight on protein when it’s raw. So for me per meal, I was instructed to eat 4 oz. of chicken (weighed raw) & would barely be 2 oz. once I cooked it. -.- BTW, I only watched buzzfeed for you guys. I’m glad y’all have ventured off and have now introduced the significant others. I AM LIVINNNNNNG for it all!
about the heavy, dark stuff, you're right and you should say it. i'll come back to this podcast in a few days when i can get my anxiety back to baseline, but thank you for saying what needs to be said.
Guys- a whole series about sustainable food production would be so interesting! Berries, mushrooms, butchering, farming, chickens, the list is endless!
I don’t mind the political talk because I respect you guys and your right to express your opinion and use your influence. At the same time though, it would be great if the politics is only restricted to rare or really significant instance (like the crazy insurrection!). I just love watching y’all to have fun, get away, and get a break from doom-scrolling the news. Peace and love guys, good episode!

I know you guys like to keep your videos light hearted especially in times like these, but I also wanted to say that I really appreciate the serious talks involving current issues. I always learn something new and have gained so many different perspectives through the serious talks. At the end of the day, I listen to every single podcast and appreciate all that you guys do whether you guys are discussing current issues or bathtubs ❤️
heartening to hear more n more people talk abt holding youtube accountable for its role in allowing shitty communities to fester and grow . great ep as always
I really want to thanks you guys for talking about what happened on Wednesday. It's so crazy and disgusting to see some people who are very high in power not want to hold those accountable. Just goes to show we have to be active in our communities always
Thank you for discussing current events, and sharing your opinions. It means so much to hear sane voices. Keep speaking!!
I'm getting on that high horse with you Zach! Now I need a full Zach rant, doesn't have to be pretty just cathardic.
I'm happy that you guys addressed the attack on the Capitol. Living in a Red state is a nightmare right now, and it's reassuring to hear from others with my same values. I am moving somewhere else as soon as I am done with school.
This is canon. This will determine if Keith and Zach are truly meant to be friends. No pressure...
Lol I didn’t realize it was Thursday until this
Keith and Zach on the cover are adorable! 🥰
Im curious was reality show Keith would be in
I haven't watched the episode yet but I know Keith was on something called like Bring the Funny or something like that with Lewberger for comedy. They got pretty far I believe Keith said before
Idk about Keith but I really want to see Miles on survivor
Dance Moms 100%
mtv's bring the funny
Dancing with the stars
I haven’t even watched the whole video but I’m just so appreciative of y’all actually sitting to talk about the “elephant in the room”
Thank you SO MUCH to you both for being educated and using your privilege and platform so well (referring to the beginning) ❤️
It feels like the guys are some weird magicians they always post at the perfect time
Zach is a Habersfriend or Habersboi and Keith is a Kornbuddy.
YES HABERSBOI
I love watching this podcast. I’m from a state where we are mostly open. Kids are going to school in person, stores are open, and we can eat at restaurants. However I continue to enjoy your podcast about the struggle of staying indoors and being under lock down. As an essential employee I feel like I have watched the world stand still while nothing has really changed for me.
You can see zach's pain around minute 22. It breaks my heart, i can only imagine what he feels like
21:19 my little side thought ; it makes sense that people who dont have a full sense of self whatever that may be, get tied into cults, hate groups, or just morally bad relationships in general.
Keith Habs said my fiance's name! Loren Stump was one of the centerbs !
49:25 when Zach can see the future of the podcast!
pls rename The TryPod to "The Try Guys Talk About Baths, Eggs, and Politics"
Yasss
Miles is having such fun with his soundboard/voice altering tech. I love that for him.
I love the art challenges. The triceratops fandom is so talented
So interesting hearing stories about buzzfeed!
Y'all, my charges just got dropped today after a year and I just needed to tell someone😂👏🏽👏🏽
Cermergerlershuns
Congrats girl!
Congrats be free!!
congratulations!!!
Congratulations girl!! 👏👏👏
Thank you
Guys, we all love the eggs-baths-and-uprisings talk
Zach your grandmother sounds amazing.
Miles...Maggie did talk about the Vitamix on the 'other podcast'. She said she has been making almond butter and virgin margaritas.
**Clarification on Oregon** Decriminalized small amounts of illegal drugs. And mushrooms for research (not recreation).
The way that Zack said shits and gigs made me literaly laugh out loud
Yo your country is messed up :(
Yeah, we know. It’s screwed up. We all suck.
Olive oil: high smoke point, used for cooking
Extra virgin olive oil: use for dressings and dips
BTW, I only watched buzzfeed for you guys. I’m glad y’all have ventured off and have now introduced the significant others. I AM LIVINNNNNNG for it all!
I am a die-hard survivor fan and would LOOOOVE for Keith to go on there. Thatd be freakin awesome
This and You Can Sit With Us are the best parts of my week and will probably be what gets me through 2021 💜🤣
about the heavy, dark stuff, you're right and you should say it. i'll come back to this podcast in a few days when i can get my anxiety back to baseline, but thank you for saying what needs to be said.
Thank you for all of this. One of my favorites
Saw a tweet that hit me;
I just turn off the news and put on a serial killer documentary to relax
Just got on my lunch break from cosmetology school. Love y'all
This is the first time I ever listened to a full podcast I really loved this one!
Technical difficulties with Miles? No way.
Zach’s frustration at the transparency is EXACTLY the worst part
Miles the famous youTUBer
YES
I'm here a month later and I'm really glad you talked about the coup. Your thoughts are interesting to me so thank you
Guys- a whole series about sustainable food production would be so interesting! Berries, mushrooms, butchering, farming, chickens, the list is endless!
I told my mom yesterday that I hope y’all post a video soon because I miss y’all. You posted today!!! It’s my birthday too!! #27 🥳
Happy Birthday 🎂🎉🎁🎊
@@rebella8898 thanks!! 💛
My favourite way to start Thursday🥰🥰 thanks guys!!
Zach nodding sagely when Keith brings up squeezy tubes for pancake art scratches an itch for me.
What a great podcast segment an art contest is. You dragged me here. I even tried Miles' Instagram.
PS: Rat is not derogatory. It is a term of endearment that is earned.
Yes!!
Same thing happens in the Dan and Phil fandom jsjsjsj (phandom, we call Dan rat)
Yeah it's a thing in the Jessie Paege fandom too
"It's gonna be 88 degrees on Friday"-Keith in California
Me sitting here watching Fridays blizzard warning in Nebraska...
Listening/watching Keith around 48mins is what I realized I look like when people ask me how I'm doing.
Coup-time: the terrible American interpretation of Poutine 😂
