things that need to be better: 0:06 that invert color flash is really bad 0:08 needs a zoom or static trigger to make that tp orb transition look better, also a thing where the cube gets teleported 0:18 transition needs to be a lil bit shorter and the color triggers a lil bit faster with some shaders to make it look cool 0:24 - 0:30 needs more things and the easing less camera rotate is just... no 0:33 needs more speed and harder gameplay 0:44 just... not being that 0:48 - 0:56 the electricity things are, uhh, horrible with dark color inside and light outside 0:56 transition, it needs a transition 1:03 - 1:12 needs more gameplay than just a bad ball gp and the wave needs more things 1:16 love this part lmao, but it with be a lil better without the lens circle fade and easing 1:40 hi jumpscare lol, the texts displaying on the bg or in the screen would be better and a lot of better transitions and easing for triggers

Pretty solid level overall, obviously not rate worthy but this is absolutely a step towards it. I love robtop styled levels and this is a pretty decent framework for one. I'd say you need to work on effects such as platforms glowing when landed on, use of area triggers, and particle effects. For example, at 33%-36% (as the level shows ingame, not the youtube video's inaccurate percentage bar), number one, the floating circles should most likely be pulsing circles, and number two, these would benefit from using an area trigger to change their tint as you got closer to them. To go into more detail about this section specifically, the monsters' hue should be increased to more yellowish, this area would benefit from the camera being static on the y-axis, and some wind particle effects in the background would be very nice. Moving onto technical feedback, i checked the level out in the level editor and found that you've been using touch arrow triggers to change player direction. This is not the intended way of using arrow triggers and learning how to properly use arrow triggers will save you a massive headache when playtesting, as you will no longer have to play from the very start to ensure correct sync. I struggled with this process too, so we can get in touch if you want to learn how to build with arrow triggers more effectively. If you don't want to get in touch though no sweat, there are plenty of youtube videos about it I'm sure. Another thing i noticed is that the entire level uses the very same colors but with the hue shifted to either blue or purple. This dependence on the same colors hurts this level's color diversity and should be something to work on in future levels. I know this was probably a bit harsh on your level but i did want to provide what feedback I can.
bro thanks! about the arrow trigger, it caused SO MANY PROBLEMS, so i guess im kinda glad im using it wrong, and tbh i did kinda get lazy with it, i really wish i did some things differently with the level. but really, thanks for the feedback, i will use this for future levels ;) 🥰
well choosed music, hope you change 1:12 Imo some parts don't feel dynamic enough (like 0:51) , maybe put a zoom on the interested part/rotate screen. 0:32 could be another example, where there could be objects that pulse w music. To be clear, 1:53 - 2:06 is FIRE
I think when you enter the swingcopter area, the pillars that don’t kill you should be a bit more differentiated from the ones that do, maybe make the colors les saturated on the pillars? Also the boss fight was a bit underwhelming, but I love this level, the sync is good and the wave part that rotates is awesome
This level wasn't bad, but I think it needed more pulse trigger, because I found the level more still than charming, you know? So if you added some pulses trigger , the level would be better Hope this helps! 😊
The music sync needs a bit of work, and i feel the boss segment is a bit lack luster, and the sounds it makes are meh. But, i love the layout, and the flashback sequence is dope! Btw how did you make the timer freeze at 100 percent like that? I kinda wanna do that for a level i’m making.
Honestly my opinion is you dont need to focus on sync if theres good decoration and gameplay or just one of the two Edit: also at this point sight reading doesnt matter because non sightreadability was engraved as traditional gd by dash and that spider part according to "gd pros" even tho to me its perfectly sight readable even the i dont do that and to me its stereo madness but with decoration thats right EASY yours is like a demon tho lol but also maybe remove the laser sounds idk they dont sound good
oh yeah and the boss fight part at 1:40 is really bad. just sync it to the music so u dont have to add those AWFUL sfx, and maybe just add easing, and change how the boss looks. thats it!
The PTSD flashbacks go crazy hard, the bossfight seems kinda boring and could have some more unique attacks, also the indication is pretty solid which you don't see a lot with levels like this
Yeah, level progress bars now work by taking the amount of time it takes for a verification attempt to go from beginning to end, so when this person last beat it from start to finish it must have ended earlier.
gotta love the first 12 seconds of the level being slow anti-sync gameplay that can be blind and hard to sightread, the same giant ahh pillar smashed over a stupid time your jump cube part, a transition with barely visible text that only ends after the drop, followed by a swing copter with not very exiting gameplay, with decorations that aren't even pixelated, decorations that have pixels larger than the earth, and overly scaled up lasers, followed by a boring, slow and long wave part with rotation just to make it extra confusing at least it goes up from there with some more unsightreadable arrow trigger use, a funni gamemode gauntlet with problems i mentioned earlier, and 43%.. what da hell who thought this transition that doesn't let you see the gameplay is actually good oh right heres some random giant toggle trigger orbs for no flipping reason and some more anti climactic geometry dash text, followed by the most predictable ball gameplay, everyone ignore 56%'s awful music change as a response to the people who would say there was no sync, followed by OH MY GOD IS THAT STEREO MADNESS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING ME FROM THIS LEVEL- no its not it is a goofy flashback of the first 3 levels with some unnecessary effects to make it all the worse, however it is classic gameplay and 70% is just a calm symmetric dual which makes me glad because knowing this creator they would probably make it asymmetric and have arrow triggers too, so i guess im happy now cause now i know the true intention of this level was to make sure you never take symmetrical duals for granted nevermind theres just like 4 seconds of you literally clicking green orbs thats not very fun, the word hi is taking over the planet, and... IS THAT THE STUPID SKULL I SEE ALL OVER THESE STUPID DASH LEVELS OH MY GOD I CANT I JUST CANT ANYMORE yeah whatever the rest of this gameplay has this goofy kinda hard to sightread gameplay, and at like flip idk 110% theres this weird tower with some hard to see monsters, and the ending is that 4 second green orb pa- FINALLY IM DONE SCREAMING ABOUT THIS LEVEL in my opinion, 4/10, a lot of things could be done better but you have some respect for the few mediocre parts in the level and the fact that it's almost 3 minutes long
