This was a very helpful guide. I know I always debated what to do with certain dupes back in the day (limit break vs keep an extra copy).

Great video, really like the way you're helping new players to get into the game. On the same subject, I'd personally love to see a series of "adjustment video" where you go through your old element tier lists and adjust them with the changes the game has gone through (an example being the pve placement of w. Schuri, that can't oneshot banshee anymore). Doesn't have to be a whole new tier list, just some notes on the changes you'd make on your old one.
Love your beginners guides! As a newbie a would rather have a video about 3star artifacts (only ones I have really) and upgrading in depth and then get to the 4 and 5.
El's fist is actually the best artifact for fat cat. 33% speed/atk boost below 50% hp makes him really fast. Comparable to Durandal boost to him taking turns while also giving him big boost to atk.
Unfading memories is great, you should try it. At +15 on Momo does a lot of healing. Plus the S3 does AOE heal.
I mean the problem with that at least in pvp is that you usually only need the heal on 1 target and 6 % hp on a dps is not as good as 12 % from RoA.
This was more of an artifact review than a guide. I wanted to know about enhancing them and such. Like is a rule of thumb sell everything 3 star and below?
Abyssal Crown on speedy Dizzy is how I raise the middle finger to PvP and anyone unfortunate enough to pick me as their fight.
If you get the interest and time a tier list for available heroes would be amazing.
Silver Rain is for Judith CR/Cleave teams. I've tested it and it basically works as a poor man's Aux Lots.

I've actually been using el fist on a tanky LQC. You won't lap as much as with durandal but the extra speed is still nice and the added damage allows you to make her tankier, really good for baiting dark units

Justice for All, is good for Charlotte since Charlotte's S1 becomes AOE if she has a buff, so with Justice for all at max, she is guranteed to have a buff at the start of her turn, which makes her S1 do AOE, so if u solo level with Charlotte, and lock her skills, she will constantly do S1 only, and having a buff, means her S1 always do AOE.
Bwahaha! I have also sold every one of my Merciless Gluttons.

I actually use a max lb el's fist on my fire ken. It's actually not that bad especially when he has speed buff + on low health he laps a bunch of people. Ofc it was just testing at first but I came to really like it.
Shimadra staff is my poor mans rod lmao. No rod 2 of the staff its working quite nice on my amomo and achates.
I'm still very damn triggered by guiding light, pity cerise 3 times and did not get the artifact once.
I think you ran out of patience after the first 10 artifacts.. maybe re-do the video again when you feel less sleepy, try to explain why they should keep/max and units to use them.
I felt like if I was a new player, i wouldn't have learned anything from this xD
i was over explaining at the beginning, the point of this video was really just to let new people know what to keep, because they don't know. If I went in-depth on every artifact this video would've been 2 hours long.

to be clear, this video isn't worthless, you did say what to keep and mentioned that the developers may buff some that aren't useful enough. But i can imagine a new player finishing the video and thinking "ok, but.. where can i put them?"
What if they gave the returning guilty gear characters exclusive equipment, I mean we havent gotten any in a long time. And they release 3 ee's at a time

starting with a team of alexa,lena,angelica and iseria. can that get me through adventure and w13?
You'll probably want to replace Iseria with something else that's blue for W11-13. Check into Furious from the connections (left side of the lobby). He brings a crit buff, consistent defense break and a burn to add to the boss' debuff count. Angelica CAN tank it, but will need some beastly gear to tank 12 or 13. If you have Tywin or General Purrgis, I'd look into catching those up to tank with.
Adventure you can use basically anything to get through as long as you have some sort of healer in there. It's more about the gear and levels than which heroes you use.

Do artifacts that apply debuffs go through "effectiveness->eff resistance" checks? or is it just % of applying and that's it?
yes they do, however they ignore misses, so you can miss and still land the effect
