What a perfectly constructed story. I have tears rolling down my cheeks. I am so touched by this bit of human connection, and the experience of truly being known, while also marveling at the storytelling. This may be the best--or perhaps just my favorite--Matthew Dicks story so far. Second place, is the one about how he and his wife got together.
oh, this is so touching and heartfelt. i'd intended to watch this for a bit of white noise, but by the end it had swallowed by attention whole. each sentence just seamlessly builds upon the last; the pacing holds your hand throughout. and that finale! gosh. it's so lovely
