Oh she turned out great!!! I have rerooted a few dolls but it tests my patience. I never had Totally Hair Barbie. That was when I was getting “too old” to play with Barbie. As a collector I have the blonde and brunette. You did a fabulous job, love the crimped hair!!!! ❤

Absolutely love the final result! i love how she is the classic totally hair barbie but at the same time she is her own unique thing with the custom dress, hair and shoes! well done! I am about to reroot the poor totally hair barbie i thrifted (she’s gone through a haircut unfortunately), and i bought the “Kryolite Blonde Kanekalon Doll Hair” - i had help identifying the closest thing to her original hair. I have never done this so wish me luck! 😂 (i do have a barbie head to practice on before doing the real thing).

The crimping really was so satisfying to watch! And lmao the math joke again. Also a huge fan of tea. Been having a lot of green for the antioxidant properties. I think the Peach hair reroot doll looks similar to your mini me! Excellent use of the tiny Totally Hair doll!
Your dolls are excellent really nice to get a previously owned to look new again. The other day I did a boil dip perm with pipe cleaners the first time I can remember the Barbie extra doll has really long neon green hair and it was about 3 hours to section the pieces and then unravel. This method will result in spiral curls I would next time wrap the sections with thin paper so the pipe cleaner wont snag the hair. I have bendable foam rollers so she can have the ends conditioned with bigger waves.
The original Totally Hair Barbie was cool, but that reproduction. .. There is *something* about that doll that is so compelling. It may be her face. i Love how she was painted.

I love Totally Hair Barbie, she's such an iconic doll(s) yours sure is an international magical girl, just popping in for a reroot in my native land before I go back to Arjen's magical pastel glittering kingdom. I remember when my sister and I first saw the commercial (our jaws dropped) it was the first time we seen Ken with hair, wasn't even aware he had had hair back in time, I asked for the Ken for Christmas and my sister asked for Barbie, I got the Ken still remember to this day how happy I was, my sister however got the mermaid Barbie just as beautiful, but it wasn't Totally Hair, the following year she got the Hollywood Hair Barbie, we saved money to buy the Jewelled Hair Mermaid Barbie also, however we never got Totally Hair Barbie, until I started collecting years ago and wanted all the dolls we wanted and had as kids, Totally Hair was high on my list, I managed to get the Blonde version thrifted quiet easily then got the Brunette version also, then got the ken, the whole thing escalated into wanting the whole collection that took a few years, Skipper was not too hard to find however Courtney was and Totally Hair Whitney was even worse to find and each time extremely expensive, I eventually found one then managed to get two more! I rerooted mine with human hair it had to be done I wanted it to actually be Totally Hair, was such hard work but I am so glad to have them in my collection and be able to fully do whatever I like to their hair, crimp, curl, straight , I even did two of my Whitney dolls one Brunette blue version and a blonde pink version. Wendy and Selena did great jobs with their rerroots and you did a great job styling her also. P.S I also did a blonde version with pink high quality Kanekalon hair but still needs a few tweeks.

Comb the hair while it’s still dry, there are special detangle brushes to do so, but there will always be some hairloss while doing this 🥲
