Another great video, thanks for sharing. Hiking for hours on the snow in the mountains is a good way to strengthen mental health. Interesting you talked about your childhood memories. (good times). I also have good memories, when I was a teenager, we used to go vacation on the French Alps at high altitude (1800-2200m). We had to walk for nearly an hour in the dark on the snow to go to the Church on the Christmas eve in a very small nearby village. It was a very small church, it was amazing, everything was so simple and natural !! So different from Paris / north of France.
The sulphur smell reminded me of the oil fields and Yellowstone. Our custom in the states is to have proper trail etiquette. To every person, you must ask "how are you?" Good. Not good. Bad. You never know what someone needs until you ask them.
Oh I didn’t realise there was such smell in Yellowstone 🤔 It’s really nice to ask the strangers how they are doing while hiking, I think. They might need something - true!
Great video Elena. I think that landscapes with snow are awesome and the background music chosen by you was great. Good evening and we are seeing in the next video.
Those were very nice captures with that drone, Elena. Now, it feels like as if the videos pop out of my screen 😆. Very cool. I like how thick that snow appeared. As soon as you said it smells like Sulfur there, I laughed so hard for some reason. 🤣 Nice video
Elena, I am in awe of the job you have done with the images you captured during your recent adventure in the Perm region. The sequences from the drone have definitely added another level of interest to your presentation, making the visual feast for your audience even more enticing. Beautiful work, well done!
I've watch several videos and read about the 9 hikers that went missing back in the late 50's in the Ural mountains. Their bodies were found later but there are still questions as to what happened. The area they were in is name Dyatlov Pass after their leader.
Your video reminded me of the Russian arctic town of Ryrkaypiy, which has a problem with polar bear 'occupation'. There are some scary videos on TH-cam as well. The same problem happens in Canada and in Kaktovik, Alaska. But the bears in Perm are sleeping, they say 😉
Oh that sounds dangerous 🐻 Polar bears are even scarier than brown ones 😬 haha I hope they are! But I’ve also heard that you can wake them up by accident and that’s not good 🙈
I’m shivering just watching this video sitting on my sofa in a perfectly warm room but it feels like I’m out there on Ural Mountains with you. I love how you capture the peace and tranquility of nature in your videos :))
Hi Elena 😁. That looks like it would be a wonderful view any season. The sound of your footsteps in the snow brought back childhood memories for me. Loved the video 👏❤️📽️
Hi Kevin 🙂Oh 100%! Maybe there is a number of sounds, including the sound of footsteps in the snow, that people from around the world associate with childhood 🤔 Could be an interesting question to research!
Yet another picturesque nature video, Lenochka! Keep improving those hiking muscles of yours in order to take us deeper into the Russian wilderness 😉. Have a great 2023!
Wow! What views, and the shots you took are amazing. Your videos are delightful, and I find them so calming. I really want to visit Perm even more now.
First I have to congratulate you on your English it is very good. Also you have a very very good sole. This part of Russia looks just like Canada where I am from. As I wrote this Comment it is - 10 and snowing?
Hi Elena, looks so beautiful there in the snow,we never get that amount ,i always dreamed about going some place with that amount of snow and just diving it to it,sounds crazy but may be one day, take care
@@elenastravels Oh, it's Tolkien's. The setting of The Lord of the Rings. I'm more likely to thread through it than through any other real snowy wilderness 🤓🤷🏾
Those are some very magical Winter landscapes, Elena. I've also noticed in USA that people are friendlier when you meet them hiking in mountains. Maybe because everyone is on vacation and enjoying nature so they are in a better mood.
Have to give credit to the Russian folks as you are a hardy people. Would be nice to see the same area during the summer months. Now young lady go get some hot coffee or tea. Burr....

Well glad you did not meet the wolves, or the bear or the tiger. But also a little sad you didn't see any of their footprints either.

Красотища невероятная! Нетронутая природа на сотни километров.
