That grandmother sounds bitter. I never understood why women bring people who ruin the day and make everything about their opinions and not what the bride wants.
I love how everybody hugged the bride-to-be when she chose the dress, but if you look at Grandma, she needs a hug too.
I'm sure she misses her husband a lot at this moment too.

Oh my goodness, I am choked up. The watch that belonged to her grandfather and she wore it everyday and will wear it on her wedding day. That is very special. She looks absolutely precious in the final gown. She looked fantastic in every dress she tried on.

Because of her Grandmother's insistence the sales people were forced to work harder to find the perfect dress for this young bride to be. That's the sales people's job. To take the bride's first liked dress in this case and many others is to settle for less than she deserves and only encourages the sales people to be less than they can be in their area of specialty.

Nope, that is the propaganda of the bridal industry so the many brides have become too selfish instead of learning how to compromise which is very important in a marriage. So to hell with the groom and the family members who will pay or help pay for the dress and other expenses. It should only be about the self-centered bride, as the propaganda states.

Oh my goodness, absolutely every single dress looked divine on Leah! I am a little sad that she didn't really enjoy the process though, as every aspect of the appointment was focused on the grandmother. I loved the first dress as well as the one she finally settled on. And didn't that last veil match the dress perfectly!!!

Ooh, these kind of episodes really make me miss my grandmother. My dad was a late baby, she had him in her 40s, and seeing that i was the youngest of my parents, my time with her was super limited .... yet God blessed me with an amazing capacity for memory and i remember so much of my time spent with her in my youngest years. She was the only person i can without a doubt say loved me completely unconditionally.... she passed when i was in 8th grade. I am 45 today and i still cry for her as if she died yesterday. Her husband, my grandfather died 2 months before my birth. Treasure these ppl in your life today before they become a memory in your past.

I understand where she is coming from. I lost my grandfather in 2020 during covid and got engaged last year and the only person who I would’ve loved to have gotten opinions about my wedding dress that I got was my grandfather.

I love the way the bridal consultants new what to do, and what not to do.(Not to do whatever? they had to do to make a sale),but rather, they knew exactly what to do (through experience of course), such as, blinging her all up with the hair, earrings, etc. etc. So that they will have an actual idea of how she may look on her wedding day. And that ladies and gentlemen, is what I call "True professional bridal Consultants".
This is an example of why it's important for couples to have engagements that give them time to save up their own money. Grandma had way too much influence on the bride's choice of dress! And on top of it, she had no constructive remarks about style. I think that she wanted her covered up to her neck since every dress was sleeveless. This wasn't HER wedding, it's her granddaughter's. I bet if the grandfather was still alive, he would put the kabash on the constant negativity of the grandmother.
Grandma - this ain’t your wedding! I have a feeling things would have gone very differently if her Grandad had been there. I’m so glad she carries him with her every day!

This young lady is the picture of good values and manners. Rather than being self-centred, and about “her day”, she brought her family together through tolerance and sharing her own dress. When you are that special, you can be beautiful in a garbage bag. I was glad she got a sparkly, shiny dress. It suits her youth and innocence. I hope the football culture treats her well.

A Woman should only consider marriage when she has developed her own personality, found her true voice, and understands her full Heart. The ultimate test is holding true to yourself within the family you came from. Until you do that, you will struggle with the same issues in creating your own household and family.

Oh this one hit me hard...my grandpa and I were really close too, he had a bad knee and walked with a cane but he always said that he'd dance at my wedding. He passed away years before that could even happen. The fact that this bride is wearing her grandpa's watch to keep him close is so sweet!
