I think this is one of the best ways to store bulk items without a massive expense early and late game. Let me know if you have other ways you use Functional Storage in your builds.
Absolutely one of the strongest, cleanest ways to set up storage in the early game in a way that scales so well into late game. I love plopping a controller in the middle of a room and having continuous production setups feeding into those drawers all linked up to ae2
Yeah I love this setup, in my play through of ATM9 TTS I did this setup but using AE2. It’s so versatile and love how scalable it is. Thank you for taking the time to share your comment!
It seems like you have great potential at tutorials. If I may, I'd suggest redoing this video now that you know what you want to say, and see how that comes out.
Thank you, it’s a learning process. I always recorded let’s play so now it’s a case of learning a different way to record. I will take your kind feedback on board and use it moving forward.
Hey, yes you can you need to make sure to lock the draw so they don’t double up, and then set the priority in the external storage bus a little higher but should just work without needing to set priorities. I do it o ensure the items go there regardless
You need to have a wireless terminal, a wireless transmitter (ariel) and range boosters. By default I think its 16 blocks, but you can make up to cross dimensional but takes crazy power to run it. Right click the wireless terminal on the controller unit from the Refined Storage system. Hope this helped!
Yes you can, just AE2 is far more expensive to get up and running. But the same principle works for them both. That’s how I started my AE2 journey in TTS.
Have you made sure it’s the end chest not tank, also I have found it only funnels out of the bottom properly. Make sure you have an exporter and it’s selected for items. The chest is funny with how it pulls and pushes items
@@HulkyPlays I’ve just used a normal chest and opted for a wired system instead, the ended chest just isn’t funnelling items, annoying but I can make do. Do you know if there’s another way to wirelessly get items across aside from an end chest?

Awesome dude, love Refined Storage and I’m hopeless at Functional Storage so love this Video. ❤
Thank you, I hope this gives a little insight as to how easy it can be to bulk store items using RF and FS
11:30 is when he actually says how to make the external storage shove stuff into the drawers.

Thanks for this cool video 😁, all that’s left to do is advertise it
Thank you buddy, glad you liked it. What do you mean by advertising it?
Thank you now my mob farm won't clog the output and I can get the loot properly ❤
i love this video but its so complicated for me im new to these mods
Thank you, glad you enjoy it. How can I help with the bits that confuse you? I will do my best to help
@@HulkyPlays no problem and i also after few hours of trying i figured it out thanks.
Is there a way to speed up how fast the RS system inputs the items into the external storage?
You can use the mega importers/exporters, they move items really quick. You can also put in speed upgrades.
Can you connect more than 1 Storrage Controller via External Storrage to an ME System? I can't get it to work..

how do you make this to where you can use the wireless terminal?

@@HulkyPlays i did all of that wasn't able to get it past 48 blocks, do appreciate your help :)
@Undead816 I will get the parts and record a video of it for you and drop the link here tomorrow.

Can you do the same with ae2?

@@HulkyPlays thank you, I've been trying to stop mystical agriculture from taking over my storage
@borderlandsplayer5003 yeah that’s an amazing farm system but man it can destroy storage systems! Glad I could help out.
Hey man I did exactly what you did In The video but it’s not working for me?
Like items aren’t funneling out of the end chest at all.
