Wow bout time the rays win here. 4-1 in extras and love how fast randy is stealing a base after like a million throws. What a surreal trip to the west coast and old stomping grounds! Safe travels friend
That was a memorable series! Watching a game with Tom Wilson, Trout & Ohtani hit back-to-back HRs (missed it!), Ohtani hit a grand slam, Brett Phillips pitched, Detmers pitched a no-hitter, and the Rays win in extra innings. Very entertaining!
Good times, good company, good game. :) And gosh, I was looking into that Brett Phillips/Randy Savage thing a little bit more and I had no idea that Macho Man was an actual pro baseball player before he ever hit the WWF, that's pretty awesome.
Gotta love that California weather. Looks like a beautiful day. In my neck of the woods, Washington state, it can be be beautiful one day and a downpour the next.
Nolan Ryan is hands down my favorite pitcher! I was at the July 31, 1990 game at Milwaukee County Stadium where he won his 300th game against my Brewers.
