I used to hold negative impression against Shiekhs likes Yasir Qadhi, Omar Suleiman, etc. But the issue of Palestine has made a clear contrast between imaan and nifaaq. And these Sheikhs have proven their sincerity against all odds, Alhamdulillah.
Alhamdullilah , Allah opened your eyes to the truth.
Just as the situation in Palestine has shown us the stark contrast of opposing factors e.g humanity vs inhumanity, courage vs cowardice, truth vs lies, dignity vs ignominy, sincerity vs hypocrisy, the treachery of Arab leaders vs the commitment of the Yemenis etc, we have seen the true Sheikhs vs the tik tok''s and those who serve Allah vs those who serve their human masters. May Allah guide us to be on the side of the righteous.

Because they are not stupid. Either this immam is ignorant of what he’s talking about - or he’s incredibly selective. “Palestinians” are the only ones ever who are allowed to have their descendants considered refugees. THey have resided for decades in Syria, LEbanon, Jordan (which is “Palestinian” - far more so than their phoney king (who is from Saudi Arabia)) yet they are not given citizenship. He also ignores completely the complicity of UNRWA in Hamas terrorism. He inverts the reasons why the UN treats Arabs differently - it has a lot to do with Oil and appeasement. The 700k number is overstated. The “expulsion” is way exaggerated and he ignores the Arab countries who told Arabs to leave. He ignores the 900k+ Jews that were kicked out of Arab countries (almost all of whom were the products of Arab colonization). I could go on and on. This man, again, is either willfully ignorant, or incredibly irresponsible. Anyone concerned about the situation owes it to themselves to take an active interest by getting into various sources.
I’m watching this further and he ties the withdrawal of spending to UNRWA to the ICJ’s decision. Bullshit. Total fabrication.
I’ve commented on some of this content in response to another comment above. Now that I’m nearing the end of this talk - please consider this. The current war in Gaza along with the ongoing conflict in general between Israel and the “Palestinians” is the result of a society (Gazans and PA and elsewhere in Arab countries) who are not fighting the evil within themselves personally (a responsibility of every human being who values life) and in their society. This Imam didn’t mention Hamas even once. Nor PIJ, nor so may others. Israel is fighting this evil. Genocide? Nonsense. Yemen, Syria are examples of genocide - 100,000s of been murdered. And that’s in recent times.
The big fear that I personally have is that not only are they changing language in terms like Apartheid and Genocide and others. Now the purpose of the laws of war and humanitarian law, which were designed to first and foremost protect civilians and then uniformed soldiers will too be distorted and rendered ineffective. This would be a massive regression for civil society world-wide. A society that this immam clearly is not a part of.
We have one Allah. One quran. One prophet . One kalima. One ummah. We are Muslims. Curse upon the people who divided US. We are one ummah.
Time for the Ummah to become a 'super power' and fill the gap in funding. No more relying on nations that caused the problem in the first place.
All the money in the world won't change anything until that entire region is controlled by the same group that has caused this to begin with. Spend, build, destroy, and then repeat. Look at the entire history of this oppression, and you'll see the system is rigged.

I have donated myself last week. And wil do monthly in shaa Allah.
At the same time as the Nakba, an almost equivalent number of Jews (700,000) were forced to flee the Arab countries of the Middle East ... since then, the number of these Jews who have lived in refugee camps - NIL; and the amount of UN aid that they have received - NIL. No life of self-pitying refugee status … they made the adjustment, difficult as it was, and got on with their lives.

Finally! A scholar who speaks logically and humanly about the different schools of thought and the importance of unity amongst all Islamic sects.
It’s very sad that it took the genocide of my brothers and sisters in Palestine for a scholar to finally state that we are one together and to treat each other with respect, kindness and humility.

Yasir qadhi talk makes sense and it's full of wisdom and practicality I love and respect him even when people used to criticize him for his very small mistakes because his intentions are good and gold(inna mal aamaalu bin niyyah).
If instead of hating Israel, the Palestinians had used the aid money to build up Gaza, they would be living in a very prosperous society. They chose hate instead of love. May they enjoy their life.
If Muslim countries are not fulfil to their duty to support the people of Gaza and Palestine then the individual Muslims should come forward and either through the existing charity organizations or forming new relief organizations to help the people of Gaza and Palestine.
First time I’ve come across a lecture which resonates with what really needs to happen urgently. This is exactly what is needed within some sleeping muslims. We have every right to make a difference politically within the communities and and the wider world. Thank you for an excellent informative sermon.

So to teach proper religion is apart of jahd and never abandoned, Y Qadhi is wrong. if we practice wrong, we build wrong and that weakens us, Quran 2 :137 says right beleif is key to victory not numbers in Quran 9 :25, the fact that yasir Qadhi says we rely on non Muslims shows he only has a short term solution, if he treats this like its the long term solution he is wrong, long term solution is only by learning Islam... that is how the sahabs left meca w/ nothing but due to following Allah's wisdom in proper order in medina in a few yrs out grew the pagans in meca.

Thank you for this. I want to tell you that I’m not Muslim. Christian born and raised. No longer church going. But I’ve been benefiting from and enjoying your sermons (sorry if that’s not the right terminology).
It’s not a sermon, Christian means Christ centred life ; Christ is the Core of One’s being Spiritual Life, it’s sad to know that you’re a Christian by name only like many out there. Eternal Life is only found in faith in Jesus Christ alone John 3:36 ,without faith in him one is doomed to everlasting death . You can be saved from eternal death by trusting Jesus who died for you for your sins and for the forgiveness of ones sins and who rose again on the third day so that you can experience new life in him . He will give you hope now for the future and for the next life when one dies. Ask him to come in your life to be your Lord and Saviour to rule your life and experience a personal relationship with him. Many ex Muslim are now enjoying this relationship with him the reason they left Islam . I gave my life to him when I was younger age 20 now I am on my seventy birthday . I found meaning in life and never regretted the decision I made to follow him daily. Without faith and depending on him life is empty and miserable. Try To have a living relationship with Jesus l promise you that you will never regret it. If God can do it in my life and thousands of ex Muslims and Catholics l know he can do it in your life. Jesus promised his followers that he will never leave anyone who believes in him. I am praying for you Mary Farrell and your family to know God in a very personal way. May The Lord richly bless you and your family.

Masha’Allah Mufti Taqi Uthmani is international scholar and the respected scholars has many times asked the people who approach him for a fatawaa to refer to local Ulama for local issues.
He is a Faqeeh of the highest calibre.

So where did the victory go... it went with the right Aqida... the correct Aqida is needed for victory in Quran 2 :137, Quran 9 : 25 shows numbers isn't the key to victory!

Quran 9 :122 says don't let everyone go to wor keep some ppl to teach religion.
So to teach proper religion is apart of jahd and never abandoned, Y Qadhi is wrong. if we practice wrong, we build wrong and that weakens us, Quran 2 :137 says right beleif is key to victory not numbers in Quran 9 :25, the fact that yasir Qadhi says we rely on non Muslims shows he only has a short term solution, if he treats this like its the long term solution he is wrong, long term solution is only by learning Islam... that is how the sahabs left meca w/ nothing but due to following Allah's wisdom in proper order in medina in a few yrs out grew the pagans in meca.

I have lived in Mauritania for 10 years and have sat at the feet of traditional scholars who have studied to a very high level only in the classical way (there is a huge degree that they have over the ones who studied up to a point and then went into university study). The fiqh that they have meticulously studied is 'ibadat and mu'amalat. It is dangerous to reduce their knowledge to only being applicable to 'ibadat. We must take care not to think that we can do without them in making important decisions, wherever we may be.
