Found that at a fleamarket a few weeks ago for my collection, for 80 Euros, with both controllers. One controller needs fixing, but overall it's not in bad condition.
Seeing that gears console almost make me cry, I had the opportunity to at least have the controller back in the day and I wish I could’ve kept it undamaged and held onto it knowing how expensive it probably is to obtain one with or without the actual gears console. That controller ended up filled with Cheeto dust and eventually dropped onto a totinos pizza and put under bathroom sink water because I was not a very bright 12 year old

A reflow won't work. You have to replace the defective RAM chip (out of - I think - 16 or so) or the GPU, can be either one, and you don't know which one it is. They're all BGA chips, so you basically need a reballing station and quite some soldering skills. And you still might end up with a non-working console after putting multiple hours of work into it, for a console that's probably worth $30 to $40 when you resell it.

Not a permanent fix, and replacing the x-clamp can even cause more damage. There is no permanent fix for the Red Ring of Death, even if you exchange the defective chip with a working one, this chip is basically doomed to fail aswell, it's a construction error that Microsoft engineers even admitted to about two years ago.

Most of the consoles (if not all of them) came without their original harddrives, so he's just mixing hard drives and consoles at this point. The harddrive probably came from a console with a much higher dashboard.

The Xbox 360 with the 11 that didn’t want to show anything on screen the same thing is happening to my dad’s Xbox 360 Halo 3 limited edition but taking off the hard drive doesn’t work
You can extract the key and flash it to another disk drive, for example one of the RRoD ones, and basically turn two non-working consoles into one working one. Back in the day I could disassemble, flash and reassemble an Xbox 360 within 10 minutes, so that the console could play backup games. Or you can RGH it and use it to play games from a harddrive.
I hope you be spending the time ripping every demo and game from every drive man, you could get your hands on some real sought after content that others will never find!
