    I have mine from when I was a kid, and I'm looking forward to restoring it. You Did a fantastic job with yours my friend I'm hoping mine turns out just as nice. Looking forward to seeing everyone's GTOs, everyone does a great jobs with their cars so I know they're all going to be badass.     one of the 5 roadster GT40s is here in Boulder, Colorado at the Shelby American Collection. I've seen it several times. :) I enjoy your history lessons, too!

    So cool that GT40 became. I myself have a white and a yellow lying somewhere in the hides. I like to see when you make these little wonderful cars for brand new.       Not sure why, the yellow GT40 was only released with yellow wheels. The white was released with red, yellow and wire.

    Yellow is hard to spray. It does have a tendency of pooling, hence discolouration. Spraying thin, light coats helps the paint hold on better evenly, avoiding pooling.

    Hey Lee! That little toothpick you found inside the chassis of that car, thought maybe you might have come across one of the Dead Sea Scrolls. I think this is much better than going back to a stock restoration

    Very nice, the yellow looks really good on that casting. Can you tell me/us where you purchased that UV light? I use one to find dust and lens separation on some of my camera lenses and yours looks like a good one.

    I agree with some others - try a roadster mod next time (in blue?) . And if it is not a factory resto, you can paint the head and tail lights as well - Love the GT 40 - Had to be my favorite MB car - which a brother threw into a pond at an Ohio Turnpike rest stop.

    I'm curious as to why the wheels on the front and back one side looked like it had a hub cap on it and the other side didn't? Is that because you had to deburr the end of the axle to get the axle off? I'm pretty new to watching your video's and I've been trying to figure out some of the tools you use to do your work. Is there anywhere I could go to maybe see a list of the tools you do use?
