    She's still hurting about her sister's passing. So so sad. Her & Nicole look like twins.
    I got out of an abusive relationship. I was so scared to leave because he use to threaten my life if I ever left. I was so young and he was in his 30's....I started dating him at the age of 18, got pregnant with my daughter and 13 months after I had my daughter, I gave birth to my son. When I turned 21, I started becoming so tired of the physical abuse and the cheating that I was ready to go but I didn't know what to do to leave him. Some ppl don't understand and will ask me why I just wouldn't leave but that man controlled my mind and my entire life. He would tie me up and tase me, rape me...choke me. One time he picked me up in mid-air and body slammed me on my back on the concrete in front of everyone and nobody did anything to help me....I can go on and on. Long story short, I finally got the courage to leave but he broke into my house and beat me within an inch of my life and raped me. He ended up going to prison. I suffer from PTSD and major depression due to the abuse but I'm going to be fine! I'm grateful that he didn't kill me. My kids are now 17 & 18 years old and I'm glad ny kids didn't have to bury me or grow up watching their dad abuse me. Domestic abuse is very dangerous and if someone is abusing u, try to set up a safety plan so that u can escape. Get some trustworthy ppl in your corner who are willing to help u. Everyone be blessed

      You're brave and glad you are alright. The other people should have tried to help you. In this video, the reporter asks how he can help. The actual answer is to offer help that is action-based and useful. I wish as the public, we can help women in domestic abuse, but in the USA, they ignore about gift cards or property donations... In the UK and Australia, with 3x less of murders of women, they allow these programs...

    thank you, Denise, for your love for your late sister, your service and dedication for the work you do, in her memory and for all women, domestic violence needs to stop, continue with your work and message. Domestic violence will only stop through education and breaking the cycle.

    My Mother was a victim of abuse. What could the family do? She tried to get away , but they make the woman feel like they cannot work and support the children. They knock down their self esteem and keep them dependant on them. Finally , my Dad left with another woman. My Mom went to work and it was the best we ever had it! She worked very hard in factories , but there were no more beatings and her children didn't do without anymore. She only had a 7th grade education. If she can do it , anyone can!

      Denise Brown did pocket all of her sisters charity money and sold her diary for 100k. Government shut down the charity. Also, Nicole sent letters to Oj wanting to resore thier relationship 8 months before the murders. Jury didn buy the abuse angle. PS sry about your mom

    I was in one of these relationships. What people don't understand is how
    much it equates with addiction. It always takes two to tango, but whether it's
    a drug, or it's a person that kills, it is the addiction to that thing that
    does it. She was his drug and he, hers for many years. She was trying to get
    clean, but his addiction to her wasn't having it! They may have both been
    addicted at one point, but it was his addiction to controlling the drug he was
    hooked on, that killed her.

      It's been hard for me to forgive he verbal abuse and physical in the end from my exhusband. I was so beaten down with low self esteem I couldn't break away. I ended up hospitalized for depression. It took three more years and it was decided fir me. I needed medicine the rest of my life. I was sick for 5 more years before a medicine worked. Oh the abuser got custody because of my hospitalizations. Yah .I had to move back home with my parents at 31 years old. I lost everything. I dont know how I survived. My children lived 800 miles away but I visited 2 a year in the carolinas and even to georgia.
      He was in the marines. I ended up with my son years later the teen girls left when he got married. They were only 15 and 17. I need up with 19 year old daughter later on. my12 year old daughter was taken away from him from my oldest daughter he was too drunk to pick her up at school. So in the end he married the times. They all left him. Liv I n girlfriends, cheated on all of them. So I am moving back there when I retire. I have good relationship with the girls now. They have careers. My son still live here in my town. But the ptsd is still there. I'm trying to get over this before I move but it's hard. Counseling helps. But it's always th ere. In my mind. In my nightmares. That's my story. Thanks to denise for bringing awareness t this. Real people lik e me have and suffered thru this nightmare.

    If Nicole truly believed he would kill her, why didn't she take precautions to protect herself? Hire a bodyguard and on site security guards? Install surveillance video cameras? Change her locks when he stole her spare keys? She could afford these things.

      Because no one would protect anyone against OJ Simpson. He was a hero. Hell, he's still a hero among monkeys due to his fame and his crimes, like Amber Heard is a heroine among misandrists who fancy themselves as modern feminists, and like Ezra Miller is a hero among the LGBTQ mafia for beating women up.

But they loved their sister. He stalked and killed her brutally. And that's deises fault why? Blame the victims family? Shows you know nothing about abusers and their actions. Shame on you.

      @ginabarthelemy7591 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kathleendobens6648 Perhaps you read a different message than what I wrote. I never blamed Nicole, as she was clearly the victim. I wanted to point out that I wish her sister and family had the same energy back then (advocating) as they do now. This sister testified that she was aware of the DV and kept evidence of it, yet the Brown family continued to accept lavish gifts and vacations from that monster. You cannot have it both ways. That was the point of my previous post. As for your allegations of drugs...I wasn't in any of the rooms, so I will not speak ill of the dead. May she rest in peace and may God watch over her children.

    How convenient that NOW she's an advocate against domestic violence. If only she and her family had had that attitude while Nicole was alive and she was being abused by OJ BEFORE he killed her.
    But of course, money is what truly matters for the Browns. My heart only goes out to Ron's family. They had no connection to OJ at all and are still fighting to deliver him some sort of justice. The Browns can all rot in hell for all I care for the role they played in Nicole's abuse and murder.

    • @kathleendobens6648
      @kathleendobens6648 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you got I t all wrong. Nicole was with friends who did drugs. She dabbled herself. The family didnt like these people. They were concerned. But oj did stalk and murder her. Not the family. They just wanted her to distance herself from the bad people . Not realizing it was oj they should have been concerned about!!!!

    • @TDKiller415
      @TDKiller415 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kathleendobens6648 Oh they knew perfectly well. The drug stuff was bullshit that Faye Resnick made up so she could make money from her book, and Johnnie Cochran used it as a basis for the drug related murder theory.
      AC Cowlings testified during the civil trial that Nicole's parents knew all about the domestic abuse but they kept pushing her to reconcile with OJ, which disturbed her. They are just as responsible as OJ for her rotting in the ground. Had Nicole been my daughter, I'd have smashed OJ's face in the first time he hit her. That way she'd still be alive.
