- DeMeco Ryans decision to hire Nick Caley comes with uncertainty, but it's the decision DeMeco made earlier that really mattered most. Landry Locker breaks it down in another edition of The Locker Room on TH-cam!

There's one thing I learned out of running a Painting and Remodeling business for 25 years and I had to learn this the hard way you do not hire your friends and put them in a job no matter how much they beg you you don't hire them
Sounds like you have shit friends
Only if they are inconsistent with the ability to follow. I know other businesses where friends were the core hires and the business is thriving. A lot of times is the owners inability to set boundaries which is a leadership flaw.
You can hire your friends but with a signed agreement that there will be know push back about anything
I said basically the same thing a week and a half ago. We were told during the season that they don't pay attention to the "noise outside the building." But 'Meco heard that noise. And he recognized that that noise was mostly right. The reason it was mostly right is because it was so danged obvious. When I can predict plays... that's a problem. I also still think that Cal and Hannah don't ignore the noise.
Everybody was giving Demeco 💩 talking about how he was pampering the players.Firing Slowick should let the naysayers and players know that Demeco Ryan is standing on business. Players like Dalton Schultz are put on notice and I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan won't grab another Tight End to put heat on Schultz.
Watch and see the guy is going to make it he is going to be a great offensive coordinator you don't go from learning from the best to not learn anything Sean McVay is absolutely one of the best coaches in the NFL one of the smartest coaches in the NFL if this guy didn't learn nothing from being under him and being under the Patriots he would not be working as any kind of coach
Wasn't Dan Campbell the TE coach at Miami?
Landry you know that the fans, are looking forward for a ch game. But the fans including myself. But I couldn't run this team either. So let's sit back and trust or coaches
From what im hearing this guy they hired has no experience calling plays ?
Wanted Josh McDaniels, Chip Kelly or Doug Pederson. Nick Caley is like having all three. Nick will be better than Nepo Baby Slowick
There is a power struggle that nobody is talking about. And it’s between Caserio and Demeco. They clearly didn’t agree on OCs. That’s why Demeco fired OL coach and Nick went over Demecos head and fired slowick anyway. Now he hired the OC he wanted before Demeco hired slowick
Nobody is talking about it because I don't think it exists. Both of these guys have got their eyes on the prize and they both understand the assignment.
@ Caley was the same dude Nick interviewed without demeco, the day after Ryan’s got hired while he was in SF getting his family. Caley was also the dude that interviewed to be pats OC while he was the tight end coach and lost out to bill O’Brien a couple years ago. Firing o line coach then firing OC, is very telling that there is mixed messages on what decisions need to be made. Expect leaks of friction this year
He probably was the cheapest and nothing is going to change
If u think he was cheaper than the other options while passing up 3 mil from the patriots a year ago then i need what your smoking
Josh McDaniels is a poison to Houston as Pederson, Chip Kelly wouldn't really fit Houston Texans Team...
