- As our superstar midfielder turns 23 today, we're looking back at some of Neves' finest strikes for Wolves. Twelve of his 15 Wolves goals have come from outside the box and here's every one of them including beauties against Manchester United, Arsenal and Espanyol.

I really like how he shocked everyone when back at porto, he chose wolves over bigger english clubs. He didn't want a straight ticket to the premier league, he wanted to EARN his move to a premier league side by promoting a championship club. Class

Nothing against Neves, of course. He's a fine player, and he definitely didn't need to earn a move to the EPL via the Championship, and definitely not for a fee that was less than half of what was expected for him.
not exactly, it was a smart choice, he knew he would have more minutes in wolves than on a "bigger" team. he knew he would eventually catch everyones attention, and he did, he is superb.

Him moving to Wolves made me immediately a Wolves fan, a team I really appreciate not just for the hordes of Portuguese players taken but for the respect shown for them even when things were not going very well on the pitch. This is where we start to understand that if we stop certain victimisation slogans and start seeing each and any of us as people with passions rather than a walking nationality, ALL lives will always matter, regardless of tone of skin.
