I used to think that music like this only served to encourage people cutting, or other stuff like that....that must be other bands I guess since all I've seen out of bands like these are sad stories, meaningful lyrics, and impactful messages to its audience. What a great song.

One of my favorite things about mcr was the raw emotion in Gerards voice like in 2:12 when he isnt really singing but is just yelling so beautifully. I remember being like 12 and so so angry with the world and myself but not wanting to scream bc then my suffering would be found out. I felt like in each song his pain was my pain and he was screaming for all of us, all the pain, all the hurt, all the bad feelings just wailing out in such a beautiful way.
This song is so beautiful (and catchy as well😂) it makes me wanna cry. tho I don't. It just gives me an emotion and I'm not sure what the emotion is. anyone feel the same sometimes?

This comment has received way too much negative criticism. Yes, this is not the kind of music that implies slitting wrists and stuff like that, but for someone who's not familiar with the genre, I could see how you might think that. There's nothing wrong with being a new fan of a genre.
