A normal person would have been brought to the ICU from the first go. It was really awesome when you came back and pulled it perfectly, completely flawless... I remember watching my first crusty demons VHS when I was probably like 8 or 9 maybe.. never forget Seth enslow sending it huge and cutting his shin down to the bone. Super dope that you’re a Christian as well 🙌🏽

Faisst, youre a true OG of the sport. Back in the day I used to have Total Chaos 1,2 and 3, Crusty Demons 8 (Australia Tour) and a whole bunch of others I forgot now. Always loved the hilarious pranks the Mulisha guys did to each other! The one where you cut your foot from the broken glass bottle Deegs threw in the hotel (and the extreme wedgie you got that tore your Balls Deep boxers before that incident).. LOL. Thank you for the memories! One of my favorite riders of all time, Kung Fu Faisst! Respect brotha.

I will never forget about 15 or 20 years ago me and a buddy went to a freestyle event at the orange show speedway in so cal and I was sitting on the barriers at the edge of the track, little did I know Ronnie was sitting right next to me and he started talking to me just like I was a normal kid. It was the strangest thing because he was such a legend to me and i was speechless when I realized what was happening. He was super cool and i remember Mike Metzger brought a new bike he was building in the back of his truck that he was showing off. The flying hawaiian was in the stands not riding that day and a local kid from my home town Bobby lee was making a fool of himself revving the shit out of his bike off of every jump. Cameron Steele was announcing the event. I miss those times, if you read Ronnie please teach me some of your kung fu one day. It was good to talk to ya.

I used to practice a few days a week at new Egypt, met you a couple times when you hung out with Dengler. I was the only tearing it up on an xr 400.👍

I was living in Vegas at the time of the event. That event was hard I think there was like a 120’ gape that metzger hit. I remember think that shit was crazy lol. I was a kid at the time 7th grade I looked up to you guys so much lol.

My old mechanic Joel Raymond built a track for Evans, we knew Matt Evans pre good, we all hung out at pontiac in 2000 when evans rode for demarni suzuki. I cant beleive what happend to tyler thats messed up man. Hopefully he is in the presence of the lord.

Excellent history lesson. Where does freestyle go from here? It seems like the bar is set so high that many riders aren't willing to push those limits. Personally I would like to see more freeride contests like Great ride open and FMX Riot.

Had a lot of ups and downs in life and just getting back into riding since then... Why did you move from 2 stroke to 4 stroke
Well Honda stopped making them after I think 2007 so all the new technology was going into the 4 stroke so I decided to ride what was current. And I’m glad I did. Once I made the change I would never go back. I liked my 4 stroke way better

Freestyle wasn’t a thing yet buddy.. the Freeride movement’s was just beginning. That was free riding in the hills. There was 8 riders who pioneered this sport of freestyle and I was one of them. This was different then just riding in the hills we were coming up with tricks to do on dirt bikes. 🙏🏼

The crusty crew started the Freeride movement. But 8 riders out of that birthed the sport of FMX. There two different things. One lead to the other tho. I came into the freeride movement in the early years of it, but I definitely was apart of pioneering the sport of FMX.
I know you were, I was just about 10 years old when it all started happening and had already been in motocross for a few years so I was watching it take place from the sidelines. I just thought the crusty guys started it. Also I feel the need to apologize to you for my comment that was just an ass thing to say, I'm sure some of my jealousy for never getting to your level was involved haha!
