- Ollie is the orphaned baby black rhino at the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa. Usually baby black rhinos follow their 'mother' but today little Ollie was throwing a rhino tantrum and decided not to listen to anyone and just do what ever he wants.

Haha yes but he is also a 'Black' Rhino meaning he is infinitely more stubborn and moody than the White Rhino.

dakotagau Actually it's not racist. it's exactly the same as when we say Polar bears and grizzly bears, two different types of bears. So we say "black" and "white" rhinos to differentiate the two rhinos. :)

Both are grey, the difference is on their mouth. In german they say square lipped and hook lipped rhino.

Most animals have different priorities in life than we do. Not concerned about time or obsessed about money and such. I like their way much better to be honest.

Wild animals are smart. But little rhinos do not understand English. When they weigh 300-400 pounds it is impossible to move them.
It's not too bright. Once it goes in a certain direction, it has to keep going.

Adorable, I think baby rhinos are the cutest of all baby animals. Also isn't Maholoholo the rehab centre where Stoffel the honey badger lives, did you by chance get to meet him?
