It’s cool how your bring us along with you and document your day for us. Keep up the great work bro! You should really consider TikTok like short 3 minute vlogs on I believe you would blow up. By the way I passed my CDL test! Watching your videos really inspired me.
As always, good work mi amigo. Tell Sadie co-pilots are required to drive and most of all not be shy. She must not know how many women would LOVE for their guy to proudly show them on social media.
I can't believe that all the iron laying around under the high powerlines its not a hazard.. especially how it all directly beneath those high-powered lines...
For 30 years I would see the iron being delivered to jobs, and now im wondering why they dont stack beams on the flange or upright i guess? It must be about maximizing the density of the load. do you happen to know the actual reason ?
That is cool to see big azz forklift doin’ it’s thang I used to think it was cool when I did steel coils seeing that thing pluck 50k off like nothing 🤣🤣 great vids keep the shiny side up the dirty side down comon’🤙🏻✌🏻
Constantly I didn’t think that was a big deal. I guess it is.. I can see if I only pulled a van or refer them maybe that question would be valid…. But literally every other video I have a 60’er hanging off the deck lmao! 😅
What’s goin on man, I’m a owner op in Louisiana I haul wood right now but I’m in the process of transitioning into flatbed as well, how well does those loads pay if you don’t mind me asking
Lol these kids nowadays are like robots always on their phones, life passes um by before they know it, whole life in that phone smdh, good video you work like a Mexican lol
headache racks haven't been a requirement for over 10 years and a typical headache rack wouldn't stop a full load anyway. if chained and/or strapped properly no load should ever move.
Let my CDL expire years ago. I hardly really drove at all before getting into a different line of work. Really didn't think it would be for me at the time but now I really wish I was living this life. I have a DUI now so I suspect I wouldn't be able to drive professionally for a while anyhow.
If I was only using straps it might scare me a little more… honestly that’s probably the least of my worries. So many more scarier things to worry about. I trust my judgment on distance and stopping distance naturally.
@@trucking4racecars what is your opinion on getting your own truck currently working for melton but want go own a truck in the near future or/and get better pay
@@T_track it’s not an easy path there’s a lot of variables. I got a big help from the guy I lease my truck to and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be in the truck I’m in today. But if your credit is good and you do your research and know exactly what lane you want to run it can be done. Gotta believe in yourself.
How do you get started in a career like this? Getting my CDL in the next couple months. Also, how's the work to life balance? Are you always on the road?
I drive and it depends sometimes with companies. My company and the one I got my cdl from (CRengland ) minimum time you have to be out is 2 weeks. Unless you get daycad/ local work you are home everyday
Yeah it depends on what you want for work life balance usually there’s something for everyone. Don’t expect to get it right the first time. Just have to start. Good luck
I’ve been watching your utube videos for a while now. I didn’t know that you were filling out of Canada? Thank GOD that your not driving on the Coquihalla Highway this time of the year!
Oh okay. I live in Charlotte,NC. I used to drive drive tractor trailer Cross Country for 16 years. Know I just work a 9 to 5. But I just want to say. That that is a nice looking set up that you have there.
Wont you get better mpg if you have taller final gear? I mean driving at 65-70 mph at roughly 1400-1500 rpm in theory should make your mpg lower. At least in Europe most trucks at 90 kmh (limited) are at 1000-1200 rpm. If yours was at that rpm, you should see around 8 mpg, if not above. Again, thats in theory 🤣
I enjoy watching your videos, but sometimes the music is a bit much and too loud. Especially when you were getting loaded at the beginning. Just thought I'd thrown in a tip man.
Love this view of it, definitely a different perspective. I was trying like hell to get you out of there fast incase the snow started back up.
Love the view!! That forklift and driver putting in work!
I love the videos. you show us from start to finish and I truly enjoy that 👍
-I actually brought a helper today .
- helper did not help him strap the load nor unstrap . 😁😁😁

nice truck!!
Would love to see a more in depth look into the chaining and strapping process with these huge loads. Great video as always
There’s a 50 min video I posted 2 months ago that shows a lot of it. I think it’s titled putting my 2022 389 to work
@@trucking4racecars that video was 🔥
It's a great success like you've said 🤟🏼😎 Really impressive how the forklift can bring up 22k pounds 65' long just like this !!

Really cool videos man! Got yourself a new sub!
I got to say men great video and the heavy metal music in the background the best
Good luck with that..its already arrived..keep the fenders up right, and the rubber side down..
Safe travels to and fro...
Hella dope how you give a full days perspective
Good to see all those conductive metal beams under those high voltage power lines!😅
That's crazy thsts it still snow & ice out there bro it's dry up here in renton/Seattle the snow went away like one or two weeks ago when it rained
Very nice set up man very nice 👍👍👍
What is the number of the Carhartt Storm Defender gloves your follower got you. Would like to buy a pair for myself. Thanks.
Plus the stretch makes the truck even more 👌👌
Thtat forklift driver, living on the edge ^^
Love the vid🔥 Is there anyway you can make video explaining how to shift an 18 speed ?
Check out High Strung Vlogs for a video on how to shift an 18 speed.
Yeah I can try to do that
Just remember that you can split everything if you want…not always necessary but you can if you like that type of workout
For 30 years I would see the iron being delivered to jobs, and now im wondering why they dont stack beams on the flange or upright i guess? It must be about maximizing the density of the load. do you happen to know the actual reason ?
Great example of how a long truck is very functional
What's the music at 1:10 please? :)
Why not rachet binders and reinforcement between the sleeper and the load ?
Beautiful truck bro.

how do you haul that with out a headache rack?
So they let in Canada with a long base truck like yours
I always thought your rig was about 320 wheelbase… Not the 290ish you mentioned
Now, I’m gonna look into hauling Steel
Thanks for Sharing
🏁💯🤙🏿 keep on keeping on brother
Can I ask why no headache rack? I thought they were required.
He aint in freakin' Minnesota dude! PNW BABY!! Ha. Cool Pete my friend. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
Shorty May!!! Lol 😂. Y'all be safe driver..

Aftermarket air bag kit up front

my wife would be passed out in the bunk 10 minutes down the road lol
surprised your truck does not have a headboard in case of steel sliding forward.
Thank you for the video, I learn a lot
My ?? Is why don't u have a head board protection and tool storage???
Doesn’t look good
headache racks are ugly and doesnt protect a dam thing hes got two boxes on the trailer thats plenty for what he does

What could possible go wrong....cold , wet steel, I beams, driving in the snow and icy road....
2 days in a row. Lets go👊🏾
How do you look at your truck being that dirty. I know it's a work truck but it hurts my eyes when my truck is that dirty. It gives me anxiety, 😬

How do you get by without a headache
What do you use from rust prevention on your truck?
Just washing. We don’t have the rust problem up this way

If hauling steel is what you do, why don’t you have a safety rack on the back of your truck? Just that extra layer of protection. It couldn’t hurt.
I’m sure he probably just wants to keep the clean look
won't do any good either. load that size. an aluminum rack gonna fold and snap off like a soda can under a truck tire..
If I was only using straps it might scare me a little more… honestly that’s probably the least of my worries. So many more scarier things to worry about. I trust my judgment on distance and stopping distance naturally.

Honestly, start by getting the CDL book from DMV and take your written
i never avoid snow and ice when i get loaded. My daddy always prefered natty ice
How much weight is this load that you're hauling?
He said 64k pounds.
It was 64k, I wish I had a bigger forklift to pick it all at once, but the 30k one I was in will do for now.
That's definitely 💰 load.. cha ching
Getting nice with the edit process

Cool tunes, Joe Satriani??
If he can lift it .then id have him let him lift the steel then pull out from underneath it once its up off the trailer.
