- Gen 9 who? Today we're going back to Galar and down the rabbit hole to look at all the wonderland references game freak snuck into sword and shield. "But Lin aren't you a bit late doing this now?" Yes, you're right... the book came out 1865 so I'm a little behind!

Funny coincidence: I am actually playing Shield using Wonderland and Looking-Glass nicknamed Pokèmon. I nicknamed my Corviknight Jubjub Bird, but while I was watching your video I realized his Mirror Armor ability may be a reference to the Looking Glass itself. I’m gonna rename him and catch a Cramorant,
P.S. Galarian Ponyta and Rapidash may be a reference to The Unicorn from the 2nd book. Unfortunately, Pyroar isn’t in the game to be The Lion.

Galar has one of the most solid sets of new Pokemon in my opinion. And Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my favorite book, too! Needless to say, this rundown made me love them even more!

@@EliteTrainerLin Yeah it took a long time. I had to breed shiny teams to get shiny Zacian and Zamazenta cuz I missed those events sadly but it was worth completing the entire base shiny dex lol. Sadly the DLCs is way too much for me, especially Crown Tundra with all those legends

Um, the Red Pollen Oricorio is both its stomping-in-place animation while snapping a picture of it in Poké Finder in Pokémon Sun & Moon and its pose when in battle is based on the Tango starting position for a female dance partner when performing the Tango.
So, I don't know why you made a rookie dance position mistake like that, and it's not like I'm mad at you for it. It's hard to believe you mistook that as a Hawaii reference when it is a Spanish reference.
I didn't make that mistake at all though lol. What I did was use oricorio's main Baile Style form artwork to represent "tropical animals" (as I said and is written on-screen), so I could then use oricorio again to represent "Hawaiian culture" with the Pa'u Style form (also said and written on-screen). It's in the very same section of the video, and oricorio is quite literally taking up half the screen so I don't know how you missed it!
