You can fit more looted junk in the big backpacks than you can in any of those boxes. Organize several bags like the boxes are set up.. building...household etc. So far, that has been the best tip I got in this game.

tan pliers and tools can stick on the side of your bag if you get it just right so they dont take up bag space
