When I first heard this song at Mumbai in 1983, I was just 20 years old, not knowing the full meaning of the song I enjoyed the charisma of the blessed singer Moh. Rafi's voice. Since I was born, brought up and educated in kerala, my Hindi was not up to the level. I had learnd Hindi as my third language at the high school level, which remained for a long time as a constraint to undersyand the song properly. Even thiugh, I managed to learn Hindi in the next couple of years and, after learning Hindi, I deliberately listerned to this song over and again. It really took me to an unknown world where I could enjoy the beauty of it in my solitude. I treasure it in life.
