Mashallah Zabardast waiting eagerly for this show also as always. It’s great to see amazing content from PIDE and especially Dr. Nadeem. Comparing poverty in Pakistan vs India will be worth watching. In last 6-8 year, half of our population has gone below poverty line while on the other hand India in last few years have alleviated 300 million people out of poverty and into the middle class. The only country that is growing at 7+% in the world is India surpassing everyone from USA to China. Want to know the reasons behind this.

@@induchopra3014 It is a big disillusion and myth among Indians that it were British who separated these Muslims from India. The MUSLIMS of India did want to be separated. Their idea of Pakistan was that all Muslim majority pockets would become Pakistan, even if they were deep inside India, like in UP. However that did not work out. Indians do not care whether these Pakistanis become Arab, Persians, Turks or Afghans. Indians should build a huge wall on border to keep these Pakistanis outside.

"Rich will always be with us. Poor will be always with us." In Pakistan's failed and bankrupt military state, the poor joined the rich. A peasant from Punjab became the military chief. He came from what the guest would like to define as "absolute poverty." After getting his share of extensions, he accumulated millions of dollars through "growth." By the time he left the golden office, he had joined the the community of billionaires. The journalist who reported his financial misadventures now reside in a land with a rule of law. The guest of his show is not be be blamed for this show, which is a waste of time. It's the host. He allowed a lunatic to utter gibberish. "Hell is empty. All the devils are here."

India has done a lot on primary education. So much. Lots of work on increasing enrolment. Educated people have less children. Better lifestyles. Poverty reduces. Education and skill education is the only way. Not just measurement. India has done tremendous work on bringing children to schools. Now there are good schools in rural areas also. Every child is in school. Those out are mostly gypsy, laborers, some tribals. Govt is trying for them too. So cell phone, fridge, TV, scooter, bike are with poor too. Poverty has changed in India. Its about quality of education now. Not just education. Skill education is high. We have network of ITIs indian technical institutes which impart skills. They have done a lot. Polytechnics. Have played a huge role. He is not talking of that at all. Even a maids children are polytechnic educated. They find good jobs

GDP growth will always pull PPL out of poverty no matter what. All this discussion abt inequality and all is BS. Yes inequality may increase but poverty will also reduce . And the PPL at bottom only care that their income has increased or not. They don't care abt ambani and adani. Punjabis be it in Pakistan or India , specially the jutts have this communist mindset which they enforce by their religion too be it islam or Sikhism. Same islam in saudi uae is highly capitalist but in pakistan it becomes socialist how ?? Bcoz it's due to Punjabi mentality.
In india other parts specially Gujarat maharastra south and even UP PPL r entrepreneurial they r pragmatic and don't engage in socialist debate. India farmer agitation was jutt agitation which was a pro socialist agiatation means No reform . Where other parts of india accepted reform by Modi which r all free mkt reforms . Due to this reason whenver Indians from this part go to west they rise very fast and thrive not only in education but also own bussinesses. India was forcibly pushed communist mindset of nehru and CPI. Today it is breaking that shackles and with tine the growth rate will increase and Poverty will reduce faster . Anyway like bhalla said in india their is no absolute poverty today we do have lot of relative poverty . In india too bengal Kerala r communist so their social indictor r moderate , low inequality but now they r forever stuck on that . Capitalist have deserted these states .
