I agree with you about not hogging makeup. It's sooo hard to use it up especially when it's a gift but like you said, the makeup will expire and you'll have to throw it away

However, I think if you are able to, try to avoid buying new tiny containers to depot into since it just creates more waste :( it would be great if you have sample jars for skincare products or old contacts cases that you can use for this purpose! Also, you can totally clean out and reuse the Dear Dahlia lipstick tube! I like to freeze my other lipsticks which makes taking them out of the tube and putting them into another case super easily so you can continue admiring the pretty casing!

I hardly ever finish makeup products other than lipstick & brow gel but I have the handy tools if I ever make it to the end. I am a light makeup user other than always have on lipstick or gloss. I was trying to start using eye shadows more before the pandemic but I have not been using very much the last year staying home. Still mostly home here in New Jersey, USA, though I do shadow up sometimes when I go out to the store or occasional work in office day. I was also just getting into blush & hilighter before pandemic. The last year I bought sooo much makeup, it will take me 10 years to use it up :) I have trouble letting go too, esp once a product is discontinued or if it was a rare expensive one but I agree it's better to use before it goes bad. I can't wait until masks are over here in the US, I have so many pretty new lippies I need to wear.

I haven't been wearing much makeup lately so my progress was tossing my clear Colourpop brow gel that I've had since it first came out because it died. I didn't finish it but I did use it almost every day so progress even though it was just expired LOL. It went from being a gel straight liquid 🤢 and I finished another lip balm mini. Oh yeah! I've been using my Bite mascara and my lashes look so good but it does transfer really easily because it never truly dries down. The wand shape makes it really difficult to apply, and I have long and full lashes. I gotta come in at four different angles to get all my top lashes. It's worth it because it looks nice but it def transfers throughout the day just from blinking 😭
You did such an amazing job! I was so surprised to see rise and shine, but I agree with you about using our favorite products before it expires. Hopefully, one day my project pan can reach the amazing amount of progress you made this month.

i tried the colourpop pretty fresh tinted moisturizer and concealer and it burned my skin. I dont know why i was so sad. It made my skin look so good but after i had dry patches all over my face and it stung so much 😭😭 did anyone here have the same experience?
oh no :( i hope your skin is doing better now! but could it be the coconut? i have had allergic reactions to certain coconut products but it could be the hyaluronic acid
@@kazm.3932 i mean im not a dermatologist so i am not fully sure but i think yeah some people can be allergic to HA. that’s just my theory since HA and coconut are the most prevalent ingredients in the pretty fresh stuff...
