Thanks so much! I love how quickly you go over the tutorial without a lot of jabbering about random things. It was concise and to the point. I appreciate that!
I watched quite a few videos to learn to make pompoms and the use of this tool rather than homemade templates, etc, seemed the most efficient way. I bought the Clover pompom maker and with the help of your video I successfully made a pompom on the first try with very little trimming, fuss, etc. Thanks for some great instruction!
Thank you for a video that is easy to understand, and to the point! I can barely see the tiny type on the package, so I doubly appreciate your instructions. ❤️
I started watching another video, got bored after watching it for 2 minutes and was no further ahead. Clicked onto this one, straight into the instructions, no messing about. Thankyou.
Hi Ange! Thank you so much! It's always hard using a new tool for the first few times, but our content team enjoys making helpful videos for products you can find on Blitsy. So glad it worked and was useful for you! ✂️
Thank you, thank you, I just got one of these but without any instructions. You make it look ever easy. Hope it works as well for me. You're a good teacher.
Thanks so much for the fantastic extremely easy to follow video. I have a charity organization and we make hats and mittens for underprivileged children in our area. We make several dozen each year and I've been struggling to get my pom poms looking good. I looked at a couple of different kinds before ordering this one. When it came I did a pom pom along with your video and it couldn't have been easier. Again, thanks so much. Great job.
Thank you so much! I bought one of these pom-pom makers and have never used it because the directions were so crappy, I could not make sense of them. This tutorial is EXCELLENT! (Now I hope I can find the pom-pom maker that I bought a year ago!)
I really like that this is such a simple video tutorial. All the other videos were over 10 minutes long! Like please, I just want to know how to use it. Thanks so much for this tutorial it was super helpful and I was sooo confused before watching this.
Kelly McKibbin We suggest wrap yellow yarn - cut it, wrap black yarn - cut it, and keep alternating until you have two yellow sections and two black sections on one side. Once you have one side filled, repeat the same steps on the other side. When you are finished, you may need to use your fingers to match up the black and yellow sections. Hope this helps!
How do you no if the yarn is tight enough or not to make a not? I got some pom pom makers for my birthday, but I am having problems with the making the notes. I see everyone else doing it, & looks easy. I appreciate your video, & time. For some reason my yarn falls out of the gap, & pom pom makers fall apart. I can't make any by hand. Trying to make some for gifts for my husband's mom birthday.. I would appreciate your support
Great tutorial. thanks :) I have a question though.. I tried this and it turned out looking just like yours except when I pulled on random parts of the pom pom I could feel it wouldn't take much to pull the whole thing apart... so I pulled hard and all of it started coming apart. is that normal? I'm hoping to make a rug for my kids and I know it needs to be hardy to survive with them playing on it. did I not pull tight enough maybe?
I don,t have the Pom-Pom maker, but I used to make pom-poms over my fingers or cardboard and had the same problem. I found that you need to do two things: either double the tying yarn to strengthen it or use a stronger string to tie with, because you really need to put that knot tiGht! And second and most importantly, after tying the center knot, bring the yarn around the center again and tie another really tight knot. I was shocked at how much difference this made. Hope it works for you.
Pawkless Bites (p.s. the second knot is on the opposite side of the center. Also make sure that your tying thread(s) are long enough that you can REALLY get a grip on them to pull them tight. I would try wrapping to the opposite side of the first knot while it is still on the form, remove it and THEN cinch it up with the second knot.
I've had the issue with getting the knot tight enough and I've always doubled the yarn and doubled knot on one side and a doubled it again on the opposite side. Maybe it's the way I'm wrapping - but it's the same way as the video. Is typing with string/cloth covered wire better to hold all the pieces in? If my dog gets her mouth on it - one shake and it's already in pieces. Guess I don't have the strength. Maybe it's too much yarn? Has anyone ever counted the number of wraps that made the pom pom a total success? Maybe that would help? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Thanks for the great instructional video. I think I can throw away my toilet paper roll pompom makers now. They did help but this one turned out much nicer.💯
So i bought these done exactly what she did in the video and 5 times it ended up cutting the long piece of yarn that needed to be kept.. didnt matter how i changed it around it kept happening..
I agree with everyone here! Great tutorial! The instructions on the packaging was awful! They couldn't spell or make clear sentences or instructions! Thank you so much!

Thank you, thank you, I just got one of these but without any instructions. You make it look ever easy. Hope it works as well for me. You're a good teacher.
My Mom brought me some of these from her trip to Japan. I love them !! A lot easier than using the fork or cardboard circle templates.

+Ashlyn Varela Glad we could help!
Sometimes it really is easier to watch it being used !
this was super helpful as I had no IDEA what I was doing! lol
Definitely the best video I've seen, I have to make a Pom Pom bee for a window display at work! Just a little confused how to alternate the colors x
Kelly McKibbin We suggest wrap yellow yarn - cut it, wrap black yarn - cut it, and keep alternating until you have two yellow sections and two black sections on one side. I just held my two colors together and wrapped them at the same time. No need to alternate! It came out adorable!

Could you use ribbon instead of yarn?
Great tutorial. thanks :) I have a question though.. Pawkless Bites I found the same! Did you manage to solve this issue? Is it just a case of pulling harder when doing that bit in the middle?
My problem too!
I don,t have the Pom-Pom maker, but I used to make pom-poms over my fingers or cardboard and had the same problem. Hello, you did not mention
that in the very beginning of the wrapping you had two arms together and then wrapped yarn around both of them!
Hi fab video! Love the yarn - what is the make and colour? Thanks! Lisa
Thank you for this video. What is the name of the yarn you used. Its beautiful!!!
hi where can I but the clover bom bom maker plz
Which Clover pom pom maker, yellow or green, is the best size for a toddler or child's beanie? Thanks.
Nina frank green, I think. I seems like a nice size 😊
I've had the issue with getting the knot tight enough and I've always doubled the yarn and doubled knot on one side and a doubled it again on the opposite side.
