The springs u found are for your garden gate u put 1 side on gate postt and other on the gate and when u open the gate it then closes it for you mike very useful items
mike those sun glasses in the plastic case with the foreign money are cartier buffalo horn glasses. Those glasses are a huge trend style in Detroit and if real are worth thousands of dollars. Here in the motorcity they call them Yays Or Buffies. Check to see if it has 2 CC in the nose piece or if it has a serial number on the nose bridge then its real. I am a jewelry shop owner and we sell these glasses daily for thousands of dollars. Its a status of wealth in the hood. our governor even wears a pair.
Small piece of advice take black electro tape and put it around the battery terminals so you don’t start an ark and catch fire in the back of your truck
The coolest thing I ever found in a dumpster is an old womans hat box full of 1940's womens hats and hat pins. I sold the lot for $400 to an antique seller and they made some good profit also. That neighborhood also had lots of curbside goodies, that was in 1998 to 1999 in FtWorth, Texas

Those black springs are torsion springs for gates. They allow a back yard gate to self close with the spring twisted under torsion.
