Winter Boating is nice because there are hardly any boats in the anchorages - however you have to be flexible with your time because the ugly truth of winter boating is WINTER STORMS!
In this episode, we hide out in one of the rolliest anchorages we have ever been in because we couldn't leave! We actually hiked to the southern side of Sucia Island to see how bad it was out there and well - i would have been dangerous if we had left! So we do the best a horrible anchorage and add some stern lines and cook some crab.

The San Juans are a gem and they are close by so its easy for us to get over an enjoy them. The parks on the islands are amazing.
