Great vid on a fantastic piece of engineering. Many people find it too complex, but you made a great overview that was quick, and easily understandable, not to mention showing off the powerful aspect of putting your own drums in there. Also : bonus points - when the levee breaks.
This saved my first experience with the RC-10R since I got it this morning. I wanted to send it back because the 12-bar blues has a faulty intro. It's more of a 5/4 instead of a 4/4 measure so you never get synchronised on the first beat with the sync option on. I followed your video and opened EZ drummer in Reaper and make a 12-bar bluesbeat with a 4/4 metronome count in,saved it as a midi file and made the bar changes in the Rhythm Converter and applied the whole structure into the RC-10. It works......almost.... because a closed Hihat in EZ-drummer isn't a closed Hi-hat in the RC-10 drummer but I think I can figure that out. I'm so glad that I found your video so I can get rid of some of the stupid intro's and bombastic endings . Most of them will work but some of them are digusting. Now I can make my own drum patterns. Thanks man !!!
