Lets not forget this build was made at 3.4 not at 3.5 and there has being changes to Hierophant. Critical changes would be -1 less totem but we summon 2 totems/ cast and each totem on play grants 3% more damage. Early on i was using new Multiple totems gem before buying 6 link Soul Mantle (had cheap corrupted 6l) to get more totems but with better gear and higher dps i replaced this gem to power charge on crit gem ( 8 charges 32% more damage ). You may also try Added cold damage if you want to slow down your enemies. This is not the most tankiest build so you need to know how you place your self at field.
Wouldnt useing 2 moonsorrow wands b an effective budget option instead/also? Its literally like 300-400% cheaper (1 c vs 3-4 ex..) than doriyans scepter... in hardcore at least currently... and gives aprox 80-100 lightning spell dmg plus 10%cast speed which is pretty comparable... maybe better depending on roll... what yall think? Also check out Kalisa's Grace gloves. Good 5link sub in plus has ok life.
Great source of information. One question though, in your video and leveling writeup you mention the soul mantle as endgame chest piece, but in the path of building there is no soul mantle to be found.

Someone help me out? I'm following the build but the 30% damg to mana first thing is lowering my mana insanely in the mine and I end up with no Mana and dying. I have a amulet that gives mana for kills but it does not work with totems. Any advice? My Mana Regen is a lot but like I said the damg to mana thing is screwing me over

Well, it has Blood Magic mod, so it would remove all mana and you'll use your life instead of mana, so you'll be EXTREMELY fragile - natural low life pool, spending life for recasting totems, not working Mind Over Matter passives (spending part of mana instead of life when hit).

Hello guys! I'm new to this game and I can't underatand how you can gain up to 8 power charges. With all the ascendancy filled I can reach 3 PC, plus more 2 for 2x Void Battery my count is at 5. There's something in the skill tree I missed?

@@Rapture2k1 I never said they were cheap. I state on the video that they're not cheap (1:53) and recommended Doryani's Catalyst or Divinarius as budget options. :)
Conductivity is the activator for Arcane surge - At lv.21 it cost 78 mana to cast it, which is the sweet spot for lv.10 arcane surge. If you check the POE Wiki of arcane surge, at lv.11+ it takes usage of 80-400 mana of the linked skill (Conductivity) to proc arcane surge. it'd take you 2+ times to cast conductivity to activate surge, which isn't very efficient. Regarding temp chains - A lv.9 cast when damage taken can only support a skill gem that requires lv.54 or lower. And lv.12 temp chains requires lv.54. The low lvl CWDT gem is probably due to the fact that at higher levels it requires to take a higher amount of damage to proc the supported gem (Temp chains), I believe you need to take about 3300 dmg with a lv.20 CWDT to proc the temp chains - which is not what we want. We want to proc it basically every time we take any damage, to instantly debuff enemies.
Great guide. Couple critiques. Passive tree is always way to fast. Button layouts would be nice for console. And cosmetics are really irrelevant and maybe moved to before gameplay instead of being in the build guide.
Playing any spec right now in red maps results in syndicate one shots. Intervention and transport need some work done so it isn't an instakill depending on the mods at high level.
@@Metentisits not as squishy as you think if played right, but i do advise keeping intervention syndicates as weak as possible as they are the worst(and can 1 or 2 shot you very quickly). and transportation is really easy to manipulate with this build... that i actually find myself STACKing people inside transport to make it better... -To manipulate transportation, requires you to do a small amount of thinking and planning though. Here is a quick suggestion on how i manage it on 10-15 maps. -1) Dont trigger the transport until you have cleared around the area. -2) You "ALWAYS" can find out where the transport is going to exit, this is really helpful as it then helps you know where the transport will most likely path. -3) If you have an idea where its going to path, set your totem up in it path so the transport drives right through them, keep kiteing back towards the exit, while you spam totems and you "self-cast haste buff"
By using soul mantle. One of soul mantle's abilities is to give any gems slotted in it totem support. IF you don't have it, or don't want to use it, you will need the totem support gem
Controlled destruction reduces your chance to crit. It reduces chance by 100%. Its great gem because of 44% more damage in the end. I have 40% chance to crit with low budget atm even with this gem.
If there are no other sources of damage REDUCTION then let's give each totem 100 points. The new support gem will add two totems and minus 20 points from each totem. 1 + 2 = 3 x 80 = 240. At one totem with the gem you gain 140 points. 2 + 2 = 4 x 80 = 320. At two totems you gain 120 points. 3 + 2 = 5 x 80 = 400. Three totems gives you 100 points. 4 + 2 = 6 x 80 = 480. 80 points. 5 + 2 = 7 x 80 = 560. 60 points. 6 + 2 = 8 x 80 = 640. 40 points. 7 + 2 = 9 x 80 = 720. 20 points. 8 + 2 = 10 x 80 = 800. 0 Points. At 8 totems you begin losing DPS, and possibly even before. There are other things to consider such as the time you spend placing totems and how much DPS you gain from using another support gem. If I had 4 totems and adding a different support gem gave me 100 points (25% DPS increase), then the Multi Totem support gem will be a DPS LOSS.

Bro, the build is cheap, Soul Mantle costs about 1 Alchemy. 6link equipments are luxury, you have to fight for them. PoE is a grinding game, you have to build with budget equipment and farm maps to buy or drop the best ones.
If you play safe, yes. Because it technically has infinite kite. But, if you're not experienced with some bosses in the game, it's possible you'll be nuked by instant homing attacks.

You can wait till level 100 and STILL won't use any "spark totems"... not with THIS guide. It's an ARC build. Usually you go for "Ancestral Bond" straight away. That's the point where you start with totems...!
Arc totem, not spark. Level 52 is when you are forced to only use totems. You are free to start using them at anytime. Get a budget Soul Mantle or totem gem for early game. This is no different than most any other build in poe, it usually doesn't come together until mid or late game.

Betrayal current prices:
Soul Mantle - 24+ chaos (with 5-link, but just any starting from 2 chaos)
Kikazaru - 1+ alchemy
Self-Flagellation - 20+ chaos (with 20% dmg buff per curse)
Void Battery - 1.5+ exalts
Doryani's Catalyst - 70+ chaos (with pretty capped Elem damage buff)
Divinarius - 20+ chaos (with +70% spell damage on it)
Why elemental Focus? losing out on shocking seems like a big deal to me since you will be getting critical strikes all the time

how can i use wrath and haste together? both of em use 50% reserved mana
you are confusing vaal haste with regular haste... vaal haste uses up soul charges instead of reserving mana...

Why "Power Charge on Critical" support when you constantly have Power charges from Hierorphant ascendancy?
This gem grants 4% more spell damage per power charge. Very useful :)

You don't need to use it right away bro, just keep the gem slot empty until you have the currency :)

since we use Mind over matter that uses 30% mana instead of hp and 10% from ascendancy with 4k hp and 2k mana you have 6k hp

At 8 totems you begin losing DPS, and possibly even before. There are other things to consider such as the time you spend placing totems and how much DPS you gain from using another support gem.
If I had 4 totems and adding a different support gem gave me 100 points (25% DPS increase), then the Multi Totem support gem will be a DPS LOSS.

Yes you can have both up.
Vaal haste doesn't use mana reservation, it uses souls to activate. Mainly used for a DPS boost at bosses.

Bro, the build is cheap, Soul Mantle costs about 1 Alchemy. 6link equipments are luxury, you have to fight for them. PoE is a grinding game, you have to build with budget equipment and farm maps to buy or drop the best ones.

If you play safe, yes. Because it technically has infinite kite. But, if you're not experienced with some bosses in the game, it's possible you'll be nuked by instant homing attacks.
Best easy builds for not pro players are Totems and Zombies builds.

so you have to wait to lvl 52 to actually use spark totem with this guide. Thats kinda dumb.
You can wait till level 100 and STILL won't use any "spark totems"... not with THIS guide. It's an ARC build.
Usually you go for "Ancestral Bond" straight away. That's the point where you start with totems...!
Arc totem, not spark. Level 52 is when you are forced to only use totems. You are free to start using them at anytime. Get a budget Soul Mantle or totem gem for early game. This is no different than most any other build in poe, it usually doesn't come together until mid or late game.
