The fact that so many of those deep shots are opposite field/deep center shows how much strength this kid has. So much range, great arm, super instinctual defensively, super quick, and some serious pop in his bat. He's already one of the best shortstops in the game, and I think he'll end up being a superstar. If he can workout his little error problem, he's a gold glove contender year in and year out.
The announcers are spot on. There was a point, where it was literally every single DAY he was making jaw-dropping plays at short. It’s truly overlooked, just how many games he altered by mowing guys down, off of normally sure-fire base hits.
You know, I didn't get a chance to fully look into his stats until now and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he did win it, considering he led all the MLB in putouts for short and 4th in assists in his first full year
Every Brewer fan knows Villar is garbage. Hiura is about a year away from the bigs and that kid can rake! Arcia tries to be too flashy at times and it causes some errors.

1:25 dang what a throw
Damn im a big Simmons fan but this guy's range/arm is crazy good. 277 is a solid avg for a 23 year old too. Lots of great shortstops in 2017...
Sterling Bigler hell yeah
A young infielder who dashes between the two lines.
Amazingly, he is still in his twenties.
Orlando Arcia doing Orlando Arcia things.
BrewCrewHighlights shoulda had his throw against the Rays. He cut down the possible leading run and then he hit a bomb in the top of the 8th
2018 Gold Glove champ already confirmed
I think he deserves it this year.

Idk he committed a lot of errors that's the only thing holding him back.
dachelk1 he also was top in the NL for fielding opportunities, so I feel like that gives justice to the errors
Range, arm strength, athleticism. He has pretty much everything you need from a SS
I can’t believe Milwaukee gave up on Arica. Braves are lucky
Love the video! Would have liked to see his little league inside the park home run on it but other than that nicely done!
His Range 😳😵😵😵
Now show Arcia and Villars errors from the second half of last year and this year.😂😂
