Must-Do Experience 🐘🇹🇭 | Ethical Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai

We had a great time at Chiangmai Elephant Land, the elephants were so adorable ~ 💕
I wrote them an email to book in Thai but they replied in English, it seems like they only have all the templates and forms in English, so we communicated in English from then on. We transferred the deposit and paid the rest in cash 💸 on activity day. It takes about 2 hrs to get to the village and 2 back, so we chose the one day pack over the half day to stay a little longer, which cost 2,300 baht per person. There’re also overnight and 2-day options if you’re interested 🐘
First part of the journey was in a van and the second was at the back of a pickup truck, standing. It gave the adventure vibes. There were 7 people including us, since they only take small groups, it felt pretty private. I was the only Thai. The staff were so surprised to see a Thai person sign up 😂 I feel like this activity isn’t popular among Thai people at all though it is unique and memorable. We get to connect with nature and truly enjoy the moment. I would recommend it to anyone ☺️
