Will the RS660 keep up in group rides on "fast night"

I am riding my aprilia rs660 and rode with plenty of 600's and 1000 cc bikes?
It occurred to me that even though 1000cc motors are much faster on the top end it is very rare they get to use all of that power and so my 660 kept up just fine
